You might be overdoing the legwork a bit. I would make yourself an appointment at a local gym, if you can, and ask them to help you plan your work-outs. They often give a free trial membership. |

The aching occurs because when you exercise you literally tear apart your muscles, which triggers the inflammatory response (aka pain and selling) and triggers your muscle cells mitochondria (the energy makers in your cells) to reproduce so that more energy can be created next time. In short the pain is just part of the healing of your body. |

brooklyn we go hard.

you're body was getting used to this new routine of exercise then when you stopped it they had a chance to relax and lose muscle memory therefore moving your progress back a little bit |

You're probably aching alot because you havent exercise in a long time and yea it will get better faster if you exercise everyday. |

well when you work out you're tearing your muscles...from the limited information, i would guess you've not giving them enough time to heal in between workouts...maybe work out 3 times a week instead and slowly work your way up |

oh..I heard my mom and sisters talking about this...if it is mainly at the knees, you are using improper form on your workouts and it could be a real prob and you should see about seeing a Doc or you might end up like my sis who has really bad knees and now can't even run or walk up hills alot of the time, and she is 32..but if the pain is just in the muscles, it is fine and there isn't anything to worry about.. |

it could be caused because your muscles are tightening when your exercising and there's alot of pulling and stretching of your muscle tissue |

Your body should be getting used to the exercise by now, but maybe your bones aren't quite used to it. You are at a time in your life where calcium is important. After 35 you stop being able to build more bone and you are in danger of ostioperosis. I think you should be taking calcium supplements and maybe talk to your doctor about your options and if they think the problem is your bones. |

There is a byproduct called Lactic acid that can build up within the legs after you exercise. This is an anaerobic respiration byproduct. |
