Symptoms of swine influenza are the same as those of seasonal influenza, and can include:
cough
fever
sore throat
stuffy or runny nose
body aches
headache
chills
fatigue
nausea and vomiting
Swine flu also can lead to more serious complications, including pneumonia and respiratory failure, and it can worsen the severity of chronic conditions like diabetes or asthma. Serious symptoms such as shortness of breath, severe vomiting, abdominal pain, dizziness, or confusion warrant an immediate call to your doctor or 911.
What is concerning about swine flu is that, unlike seasonal flu, which is typically most dangerous to the very young, elderly, and those with a weakened immune system, swine flu can also be life-threatening to young, healthy people. |

NHS 24. You are not aloud in you local GP if anyone has flu symptoms. ( This has come in to effect since the out brake, it is for the safety of other patients as swine flu can put them in danger with current problems)
The problem is that swine flu has the same symptoms as the common flu.
Don't implant fear in the child, imagining you have something that you have not can make the body weak, that's a fact. |

Hi
It is always a possibility, but if you need some info on what to look for, Visit www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk. They have details about swine flu, and you may find it useful to compare what symptoms your daughter has, to what they have listed. Hope this helps. |

Quite possible if she has come into contact with someone with 'flu.
Symptoms are similar to seasonal 'flu - sore throat, headache, aching limbs, tiredness, stuffy or runny nose, high temperature. Some people have reported nausea and vomiting. |
