Difficult to say if viral or bacterial since can't actually see the throat or feel glands. Sounds to me like the flu. Flu symptoms usually last for 7-10 days and there really isn't much you can do but relieve the symptoms. The aches and pains are probably associated to the fever and Ibuprofen/Tylenol should help with this. If there are white pustules or foul breath this could indicate strep throat/tonsillitis and this would require an antibiotic treatment.
Try not to take any medications for 4 hours before you see the doctor so you exhibit actual symptoms for accurate diagnosis. |

Tonsils can grow back. It doesn't happen that often, but it can happen. Sounds like the beginnings of a cold. Could be strep, or something along those lines. The fever is an indication of an infection. |

You know you can't get a diagnosis online. The voice thing is laryngitis, most likely viral. My guess would it's flu that's causing your woes but I'll let your doctor be the one to decide. |

You could have strep throat.
Check for white patches at the back of your throat. If you find some you have strep.
If not go see your Dr Huckstable. |

Could be a bad cold, strep infection, flu, tonsillitis (if you have them) etc. I'm sure the doc will know. |
