Washy, washy, washy! (your hands that is) When you can't wash, resist the urge to rub, scratch or touch your eyes.

Avoid cross contamination by using seperate face cloths and towels and washing your face and hands frequently with disinfectant solution. Avoid touching your face and get the rest of the family to take similar precautions. This disease is INCREDIBLY infectious and can last for weeks. In the worst case scenario it can cause permanent damage to the eyes and blindness. See a doctor too. Jules, Australia.

Wash your hands more regularly, try to not touch your face, use a separate for each eye. If someone in your home has it, wash the linens more often too.

Good Luck

I presume you are using make up . Throw out the old eye make-up and wash your pillows often . use a little bleach . and keep your hands away from your eyes - back of your hands have loads of bacteria.
