I'd say that MOST people have better than 20/20 eyesight. 20/20 is just a standard for "normal" vision that was developed ages ago. With appropriate correction, most people can see the 20/15 line. However, I don't think a lot of doctors bother checking. |

I am a myopia,I have to use the eyeglasses.My correct eye(left and right) is 1.0.
This is our country standard.
But I don't understand what your standard about 20/20?
Dose anyone can explain it to me? |

NO i cant' even see the BIG E on the chart without my contacts
My husband can read the small print on the very bottom! He is better than 20/20 |

Last time I went to the eye doctor he played a trick on me. He uses a machine to project the letters on the wall and asked me to read them, well I had a hard time but was able to read most of them, then he told that I was reading the bottom line on the eye chart 20/10 !!! |

No. 20/50 and 20/40 in right and left respectivly, though I can tell they have gotten worse. |

I have 20/15, I'm 32 years old. Probably not for long though, both my parents started wearing glasses in their mid 40s. |
