If your too thin I can relate I have always been pretty thin I was born thin... Some people say I am lucky coz I can eat what I want and not gain wait but what if you don't like being thin... people have something in their body that gets rid of the fat some peoples are faster than others so that could be the cause... But if its not EAT EAT EAT!!! (but not too much =})

In order to gain weight, you need to consume more calories than you are currently taking in every day. You really shouldn't guess how many calories you need. Choose healthy foods. Heres a link that might help you.

if you have a problem with being underweight, you probably have fast metabolism. (ahem, lucky!)

if you feel unlucky, but you should see a nutritionist and get a diet so you stay healthy and gain enough weight to be considered 'average'.

Well, milk-shakes would be good to start eating....some junk food is okay, but once you gain weight it'll turn into a bad habit, so don't go all out and get yourself hooked on junk! Because then you won't ever stop gaining weight. Another thing, when you eat slowly, you get more full...faster. So, don't rush through your meals, but try to eat a little bit faster. I really hope this helps! :D

Ignore the unhealthy food comments.

You need protein to gain weight that won't be fat but lean healthy muscle.

Soy/Dairy/Fish/lean red meats/tofu/nuts/seeds/grains.

Make sure you have protein twice a day, it doesn't have to be meat, but it is important to gain weight without clogging arteries.

Jared Leto gained lots of weight for his moving in the John Lennon film in a fastt amount of time.
What he did was, eating ice cream and fatty foods right before bed. Therefore when you sleep your body isn't working off all that calories.
When you're awake you're moving around so your body burns all those calories.

in order to gain a pound, you need to consume 3,500 calories extra than you usually do... so if you want to gain a pound in a week, then you consume an extra 3,500 calories... it is actually harder to gain weight than it is to lose, but it IS possible, i feel for you! good luck!
