Muscle weighs more than fat. You can be toned and fit and yet your weight taken alone may suggest to someone who didn't know you that you could be overweight!
That said, if you are comfortable with who you are and what you look like, what does it matter what you weigh? What is 'normal' anyhow?! |

muscle. one pound of muscle =one pound of fat however one square inch of muscle will take up less space than one square inch of fat.muscle also uses 19 times more calories than fat so more muscle more fat burn. you can be smaller than someone and be in better shape and actually weigh much more. body weight im realizing is just a number. its whats inside thats important. |

Muscle weighs more then fat. That's why when people are trying to lose weight they may not always see the scales drop but their pants may fit better...the reason being is because they are losing fat but because muscle weighs more you may not see the changes in the scales. |

I did a lab in class about this with a pig...I won't get into details but again muscle weighs more than fat.
Wether that good or bad info. that's what I know.
