More than 135 and but less than 165. That should be a good healthy weight! |

like 100-130 depending on the build of her body, if she plays sports, and her diet. |

Depends on her body type - whether she is very petite or medium, or big boned.
Teenagers generally are thinner anyway, but I'd say if she is very petite (small boned) then 110-120 at least. Medium 120 - 140, and if she is big boned then 140+.
I would consider these *minimum* healthy weights for someone that tall. Hopefully, she weighs a little more than that. |

about 125-145 is normal, 150-160 is okay. |

According to a BMI calculator, the lowest healthy weight for someone 5'6" is 114.5 pounds. Anything lower than that is definitely not healthy!
Also, even if she is below that she may not know she has an eating disorder; don't just confront her, tell her that her weight is unhealthy and you want to do what's best for her by taking her to a pediatrician to possibly diagnose her.
Best of luck! |

Type in her weight on this website and her height and it'll tell you if she's in a good range or not. But some girls are seriously just naturally skinny. |

I think, 140lbs |
|

Michele

Well statics say for every inch of 5 foot it shoudl be 5 pounds over 100
so 5'1 should be 105
5'2 is 110
so if you continue that patern a 5'6 girl should weigh about 130 pounds... |

Don't pay attention to weight, measure her waist. I heard it's the best way to find out if you're fit (or anorexic) |

It depends all on age and how much muscle you have, as muscle weighs more than fat.
I would say anywhere between 100 and 140lbs should be good enough.
If you think she is anorexic though its best to be safe just take her to the doctors or a health professional just for a check.
Its better to be safe than sorry. |

Hi H

130 lbs at least but depending on how much shes eating and if she's acting anorexic you can't know for sure. Some children will eat normally and have a high metabolism. But if you think she might be, its important to take her to a doctor and talk about it that way. To get better...yea... |

Well I heard that for a 15 yo girl at 5'3 - 9.10lbs is "normal"
Hope this helps

Well, I am 5'6 and about 15 lbs overweight...weighing in at 150. I am also more of an athletic frame, which means I look best around 135/140. I would say that a good weight for her is between 125-140. Under 125 is much too thin for a girl of 5'6. Defintely under 120 is getting unhealthy. |

anywhere from a 104 to 120 lbs and what her bone size. that helps. please don't get on her as she may natural be small. when you or her father were her age were you small. don't make her over conscious of her thinnest. many parents give their kid a hard time. perfect grades, perfect social behavior, perfect bodies and its just to much control. let them have control if you expect alot of them. god gave them to us to raise to see if we do good. or screw it up. he won't give abusive or over ruling parents children later on. healthy and normal is perfect. not expectations of that problem of perfection in someone else mind. you did not speify help condition and I added to it as I got family member that have this problem. my kid is not anorexic. she natural a size 1.5 in jeans. and yes its hard to get them that small for her height. but she happy. she does just fine with no interference from me. but like you. I worry. just buy great ice cream she loves as my kid can't refuse that goodie. |

anywhere between 115 and 135 is nice and this also depends on the fat / muscle ratio bcz muscle weighs more. So yeah 115-135 is pretty normal |
