mine didnt swell when i had mine out, but just so you can be prepared, they completely numb it when they take them out and you dont feel a thing, but a few hours later when the numbing wears off it hurts |

Most people, unless you're the minority, is affected by swelling after wisdom teeth are removed. I suggest putting ice on the outside of them. My face was swollen for about a week, and really noticeable for about 4 or 5 days. It goes down though. Don't even bother trying to go out the day you get your wisdom teeth removed or like the day after, you'll be in too much pain to even care about how your face looks with the swelling. |

i had 3 of mine polled at the same time my face was black ,blue and green for weeks i couldn't eat nothing but soup for weeks and yes their is alot of swelling alot i looked like a had 50 nuts in my mouth and the pain is BAD take your pain pills as need and when you need them GOOD LUCK i don't want to scare you ,you will be fine don't worry about it |

Your gums may be swollen and yes unfortunately noticeable for a couple of days. Try cold compresses to the outside of your jaw and eat cold foods, drink lots of liquids, and avoid sodium/salt because it could make your swelling worse or last longer. |

There shouldn't be any swelling if they remove it properly. I had 4 teeth removed 2 of which were wisdom teeth and there was no swelling. If there is it won't be at all noticeable nor will it last more then a day or two. However of course there will be a lot of bleeding which will end over night usually. Hope I answered your question =] |

You WILL have swelling no matter what, most likely you will look like a chipmunk to be frank. You may have it for 2 days, maybe even 7, its different for everyone. |

Well yeah it's going to be pretty bad, it'll be swollen but not insanely (or actually that depends I guess) you'll mostly have bruises on your cheeks and under your jaw that look green more than purple. the bruises will last a while. maybe a week. |
