The rarest type of blood is blood type AB- that is due to the fact that in order to be type AB you have to have a parent that is A and a parent that is B, or or both parents must be AB.

O+ is the most common. But O is the universal donor and can give to everyone.

AB is the universal reciever and can recieve blood from anyone.
