Yo, get that checked out. You really should go first thing tomorrow. Don't wait.

Well you are already worried. Which is not unusual because it is serious..
Both of my aunts had a lump in their breasts but it was not breast cancer. It was just a lump they had there. It's weird because you would think that it's cancer but it wasn't. So they went to the doctors and had it cut out. Now they are fine and had breast implants.
So you should defiantly go to a doctors as soon as possible. It could be breast cancer or it could be the same thing my aunts had, just a weird lump. Better to get rid of it as nothing then deal with cancer later.

God bless you hun.

Go see a doctor, don't rely on us! It's definitely something to be concerned about, but don't stress out about it cuz it could be nothing at all!

Kyoko ☺
Check it up!

You're clearly worried already. Don't be silly. Just go to the doctor and get it checked out.

It's probably nothing but I would go get it checked out in case it is something you'll want to take care of it ASAP.

you should go to the doctor (not emergency room) asap - it should be checked out, but a lump does NOT always mean cancer. When I was your age ( a while ago) I also had a pretty big lump in my breast but thankfully it was not cancer - it was a swollen lymph node and went away eventually. But, having said that, you CANNOT assume it is a lymph node - you must have it looked at. Try not to stress out over this - but go!

I was just at the OBGYN on Friday. He told me that anything unusual should be brought to your doctors attention, he said if its nothing than thats OK....better to catch something at the start then to wait.
Do it now, your young and if somethings wrong they will tell you. It could save your life!

Absolutely you could be concerned.

Get it checked out as SOON as you can.

yes, you need to be concerned. it isn't something you need to run out to the er for, but you do need follow up. go to your ob-gyn doctor. sometimes young women can get cysts in their breast tissue. they are often benign but if you have a strong family history of cancer they may want to screen you earlier for breast problems.

dude I
The purpose of a Physician is to answer medical or potential medical problems. A lump in the breast area is certainly an issue which you need to get diagnosed immediately.

I agree with Chris. Get it checked out as soon as possible, but there's no reason in getting yourself all worked up when you're not even sure if it's serious.

Go to the doctor, but don't stress about it.

Have it checked immediately. Not because you're in danger, but because it will ease your mind. Non-Cancerous breast lumps are not unusual

Two things you need to know:

Breast cancer is very, very rare indeed in people of your age; fewer than 0.1% of all those diagnosed with it are under 30, and only 5% are under 40. Most (80%) are over 50.

When I was diagnosed with breast cancer I was allocated to the breast care nurse whose special interest was 'breast cancer in younger women'; I was 50.

Secondly, most breast lumps are not cancerous - even in women over 50. Someone here has said 70% of breast lumps turn out to be cancer - this is simply not true. In fact around 80% of breast lumps that are investigated turn out to be benign.

The darker skin where the lump is and the fact that you can see the lump both suggest this isn't breast cancer; it may be a skin condition.

If it persists/has persisted for more than two weeks, see your doctor. Those of us who have actually had breast cancer are advised to wait two weeks if a symptom concerns us, and then consult a doctor.

But while you wait to see a doctor, bear in mind how very unlikely it is that you have breast cancer.
