Fenugreek benefits/side effects?
I've been researching natural breast enhancement (sad, yes, but I'm desperate!) and have come across fenugreek. I'm skeptical that it is effective but I figure I might as well try it since it seems to help other conditions I have (mainly high cholesterol). However, I'm hesitant to start taking it for two reasons; first, I am still going through puberty, and I don't want to mess my body up or anything, and second, I wonder if taking it will make me start lactating... I haven't found anything on that and while I doubt it's a risk I'd like to make sure.
Any information is greatly appreciated!

OK, if you are going to take it, please please please use the whole herb formulation NOT standardized extracts. Fenugreek is the herb of choice for treating diabetes. I am currently treating a client with it and we are having very good results. If you are having trouble with your cholesterol the herb you want for that is Turmeric. I also have a client using that and in one month her cholesterol dropped around 40 points. You might consider taking bee pollen with it too. As far as your breast enhancement issue, no, there really isn't anything out there, that doesn't do harm, that works. I don't know how old you are, but I would definitely recommend you just let nature take it's course in this matter. If you want to continue this conversation, feel free to email me. Good Luck!

There is a lot of controversy about natural breast enhancement pills and creams. I would probably wait until you complete the puberty process. The next thing that you should do is to consult a naturopathic physician. This type of physician actually specializes in using natural methods to address a variety of health conditions. The reason that some of the natural breast enhancement pills use fenugreek is that it is supposed to contain a compound called diogenin.
In laboratories, diosgenin can be converted to estrogen and progesterone but that same conversion doesn't occur naturally in the body.

People who are allergic to peanuts or soybeans may also be allergic to fenugreek. Side effects from oral fenugreek supplements may include diarrhea and gas. Fenugreek, in large quantities, may cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). It should not be combined with diabetes medication unless under a doctor's supervision.
There is no scientific evidence that fenugreek has been proven to be an effective agent to aid in natural breast enlargement.

Here is some information on fenugreek:

It has some benefits, but I doubt it does what you are looking for. It does increase lactation if you are lactating.

I have read that using cocoa butter and massaging it on the breasts will increase their size without harm.
