Carob is used in foods and cooking in place of chocolate. It is also used to thicken food and baby formula and to prevent diarrhea in children. Other names for Carob include: Ceratonia Siliqua L, Carob bean, Carob seed gum, Carob tree, caroube, carruba, and carube. How To Use
