Uses
Gynazole-1 is used to treat vaginal fungal infections.

Storage

Store at room temperature away from sunlight.

Overdose

If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Gynazole-1 may be harmful if swallowed.

How To Use

Follow the instructions provided with the medication.
Insert the applicator as directed and push the plunger to release the medication.
Discard the applicator after using.
Use a sanitary napkin to prevent clothing stains.
Do not use a tampon since it will absorb Gynazole-1.
Do not douche without consulting your doctor.
Continue to use the medication as prescribed for the full time prescribed.
If you get your menstrual period, continue treatment.

Side Effects

Gynazole-1 may cause burning, stinging or itching of the skin or vagina.
If these symptoms persist or get worse, contact your doctor.
If you experience any of the following effects, stop using Gynazole-1 and contact your doctor: stomach cramps, skin rash, hives, headache.
If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

Tell your doctor if you are using a diaphragm as birth control.
Some suppositories can interact with the latex in diaphragms.
Gynazole-1 should be used cautiously during pregnancy only if clearly needed.
It is not known if Gynazole-1 appears in breast milk.
Consult with your doctor before breast-feeding.

Missed Dose

If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up the dose to catch up.

Drug Interactions

Be sure your doctor knows what medicines you use (both prescription and nonprescription) and if you have any allergies.
Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
