Uses
This medication is used to treat itching of the eyes caused by allergies (allergic conjunctivitis).

Notes

Do not share this medication with others.
It may harm someone.

Storage

Store at room temperature between 39 and 77 degrees F (4 to 25 degrees C) away from light and moisture.

How To Use

HOW TO USE THIS MEDICATION: Apply one drop to the eye(s), as directed by your doctor.
To apply eye drops, wash hands first.
To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface.
Tilt your head back, gaze upward and pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch.
Place dropper directly over eye and administer the prescribed number of drops.
Look downward and gently close your eye for 1 to 2 minutes.
Place one finger at the corner of the eye near the nose and apply gentle pressure.
This will prevent the medication from draining away from the eye.
Try not to blink and do not rub the eye.
Do not rinse the dropper.
Replace cap after use.
If you are using another kind of eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications.
Administer eye drops before eye ointments, to allow the eye drops to enter the eye.
For best results, this medication must be used routinely as directed.
Continue using it for the full time prescribed.
Remove contact lenses before applying the eye drops.
Wait at least 10 minutes after using this medication before inserting contact lenses.
If you wear contact lenses, consult your doctor about the use of contact lenses when the eyes are red or irritated.

Side Effects

Headache, runny nose, eye redness or discharge may occur.
If these persist or worsen, notify your doctor.
Tell your doctor immediately if you have any of these unlikely but serious side effects: burning or stinging of the eye, dry eyes, eye pain or vision problems.
Allergic reactions to this drug are unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if they occur.
Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash, increased itching, swelling, dizziness or trouble breathing.

Precautions

Tell your doctor your entire medical history, including any allergies or eye problems (e.g., glaucoma).
This medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy.
Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
It is not known whether this drug passes into breast milk.
Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Missed Dose

If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember.
If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
Do not double the dose to catch up.

Drug Interactions

Tell your doctor of all nonprescription and prescription medication you may use, especially other product you apply to the eyes.
