EXERCISE IS THE BEST THING!! PREFER WALKING WHEREVER U GO NEARBY IF ITS NOT TO FAR!
AVOID USING ELEVATORS WALK UP THROUGH STAIRS! REMAIN ACTIVE THROUGHOUT THE DAY! HAVE FRESH THINGS(AIR, FOOD) THROUGHOUT THE DAY!
AND SMOKING, ALCOHOL, PILLS ETC WILL ONLY INTENSIFY YOUR PROBLEM AND NOT SOLVE......I THINK EVEN U MUST BE KNOWING IT BETTER....ALL THE BEST |

I hope you don't consider a vitamin a pill... Melatonin is used by millions of people for sleep. 3Mg's before bed should knock you right out, and keep you out.
Don't forget about warm milk! This also helps a lot of people.
When you go to bed, don't think about yourself. Think about a movie or TV show you watched. Or maybe some beautiful scenery you saw, like a beautiful sunset in Hawaii.

oh god i have that problem too! my mind races. i don't know if that's your problem? and mine doesn't have to be worries it just races with all different thoughts! i don't like taking sleeping pills but i do take xanex.25. it shuts off my mind and it doesn't make me drowsy just calms my mind. my sis told me it could be another problem which im gonna get a blood test for. its hypoglycemia. i also get up and have bad sugar craving. but anyhow that's what i do and its made my life so much better and more productive so i can work and be in a better mood during the day. |

I've heard that warm baths before bed work but that doesn't work for everyone. Also you could try warm milk. That actually has a sedative effect. I know you don't want to take pills but would you take a supplement instead of a prescription? You could try melatonin. I take it every night and it helps. When I really can't get to sleep, I take 2 benadryl (again a pill) but it works every time. |

Go lay down and relax all your muscles and clear your mind. Ok and then you can count backwards from a really high number or you can try aroma therapy. |

my little sister can't ever sleep so we make her put a song on repeat and listen to it and not get up and she falls asleep, like she listens to "bellas lullaby" or "come on get higher" over and over and she says it is the only thing that lulls her to sleep and since it plays all trough the night it keeps her asleep |

To get a better sleep stop watching Tv or computers atleast 2 hours before you go to sleep. Stick to the habit of doing meditation or listen to some self Hypnose or music which will help you to get a deep sleep |
