What are good climates if you have allergies? What locations and why?
I've heard the hot, dry areas, such as Arizona. There are less pollens and pollutants in hot, DRY air. If you lived in say, Virginia, where it's humid, the allergens, bacteria, and pollutants seem to multiply in the damp air. I live in Wisconsin. Allergies are worst in the Spring and Fall, but Winter is bad because of the COLD dry air. It drys out the mucous membranes, and because they are not in optimal condition, they don't function as well to fight off and rid the body of allergens and other substances that we breathe in.
