What is stat infection?

I haven't heard of stat infection but maybe it is staph that you are thinking of? Staph infection is a bacterial infection.. you can google it to learn more about it.

Do you mean a Staph infection
As in Golden Staph?

Staphylococcus aureus, or S. aureus, is a common bacterium that lives on the skin or in the nose. It is sometimes called ‘golden staph’. In most situations, S. aureus is harmless. If it enters the body through a cut in the skin, it can cause a range of mild to severe infections, which may cause death in some cases

There is no stat infection. Unless you are obsessed with D&D. Or, you mean staph infection.

I think you heard it wrong- I think it's supposed to be a staph (staff) infection. I have attached a link about it. If you have it be sure to take all of your antibiotics and wash your hands constantly. It is very contagious and if you don't get rid of the infection you could get very sick.

Staph. Not stat. It's not bad if you aren't resistant to certain antibiotics. Boils, etc.

Staph (pronounced "staff") is medical quick speak for staphylococcus aureus bacteria. This pesky little bacterium is very common (many people have some living on their skin all the time), but when it enters the human body, usually through an open cut or break in the skin, it can cause infection and trouble anywhere in the body. Staph infections tend to be pus-producing.

Staph infection is also the leading culprit behind cases of food poisoning, and can be to blame for larger life threatening conditions, such as Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS), pneumonia, bone infections (osteomyelitis), mastitis in nursing mothers, endocarditis (infection of the inside of the heart), and bacteremia (blood infection). People who are otherwise healthy typically do not usually become severely ill from staph infections.
