How can i prevent myself from getting a cold? What can i take for a cold?

Take airborne. Look for it, it's Vitamin C that you can dissolve in your drink and it really works. My suggesstion: get the pink grapefruit kind and drop it in a half a cup of orange juice.mmmmmmmm delicious!! and I dont even like grapefruit.

Echinacea boosts the immune system. It can be taken as a supplement or the tea. Hand washing is important to prevent the spread of germs. Zinc tablets can be bought for under $2 and do the same job as Zicam and the rest for a fraction of the cost.

there's is no cure for the cold virus. You can only treat the symptoms and make yourself "feel" better, but technically you're still sick.

get a flu shot. if you're a nurse this is highly recommended. you would avoiding 90% of colds a year, at least thats what i remembered.

Airborn pimp. Works every time.

For both prevention and current cold, Garlic is the answer! You can get Garlic in pill form almost anywhere that vitamins are sold. Garlic will boost your immune system, not only to fight a current infection, but to provide the continual "boost" necessary to keep those nasty colds away.

It sounds like a lot, but start by taking 3000mg of Garlic 3 times per day, when the first signs of a cold show up (like a sore throat). You'll notice a difference in about a day. But dont stop taking it when you feel better....you can lower the dose a bit to say 1500-2000 mg 2-3 times per day. Do this for a week, and you'll see that cold disappearing in no time.

"Kyolic" Garlic is the best IMO.

Echinacea - haven't had a cold or flu in 10 years.

Wash your hands frequently, take Zinc, and drink lots of water

want to run away from reality? if you can not take small thing how will you face big things? Take one large peg of brandy with warm water.
