A lack of Vitamin K can cause bruising.

Potassium or Iron get test for anemia. If you have anemia you may also feel very worn down tired and be a little paler than usual. If you are difficent in Potassium your muscles might be achy.

I'm not sure if its a vitamin deficiency or not but...you could be a hemophiliac

BH answered most of it, but I want to add that Vitamin K deficiency can also be caused by celiac disease, because it causes malabsorption of essential nutrients.

Meaning that you could potentially be deficient in quite a few nutrients, including Vitamin K, iron, vitamin C and many others.

lastworkerbee has it correct. Vitamin K is essential for the synthesis of clotting factors. It can be found in the cruciferous vegetables (the Cabbage/broccoli family) and in dark green leafy vegetables. Babies, infants and children are routinely screened for hemophilia and other disorders, so it's unlikely that you have that. But a simple blood count to see what you platelet count is can help reassure you.

One final point, and I don't want to alarm you, but certain medications can cause your blood to not clot as rapidly. Scurvy, or Vitamin C deficiency, can cause easy bruisability. Nowadays, we have a condition called "bachelor's scurvy" - because they eat McDonald's and DON'T eat their fruits and vegetables. A simple Vitamin C or Multivitamin tablet will cure that. And finally, there's Leukemia, which can cause a deficiency of platelets and cause easy bruisability or bleeding as a result. Again, a simple blood count can check for that and reassure you, if it's normal.

Potassium has nothing to do with easy bruisability.
