Make a list of healthy things to eat and keep up the regime everyday. quit eating Junk Food or let yourself have a piece of chocolate maybe once a week. Exercise daily e.g go for a jog every morning, dance or swim.

Eat less, exercise more.

If I wanted to be 100% certain to lose 2 lbs per week, then I'd join Weight Watchers, and excercise every day for at least 30 min. Having been in WW before I can tell you for SURE that it works, but it's expensive, so people try other alternatives which work sometimes, but not always. But if you do what WW tells you (it's only for 2 months, right?), then you will certainly have success.

Good luck.

Stop eating cheese. Cut calorie intake by 200-300 calories a day (more is unhealthy)
and start exercising/cardio.

well I've lost 5 pounds in 4 days before but that's probably not good cuz I usually gain it back. But since you're already a vegetarian, (I am too! :] ) try to cut down on candy, sugar..eat lots of fruits and vegetables and go exercise or jog 3 or 4 times a week. You're young so you probably will lose weight faster. :]
good luck

go vegetarian, it might not be 8 pounds, but my friend was vegetarian for 2 months and lost 12 pounds

Losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the daily calorie needs calculator http://calorieneedscalculator.com This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.

Exercise in a Sauna, this flushes out water weight and toxins. It will take your body quite some time to fill those toxins back in.

I don't know how it would affect your vegetarian status (which I never thought was a good idea...my old boss was a strict lacto/ovo vegetarian and she was morbidly obese...weird) but my fiance is two weeks into the flat belly diet. I can SEE the difference in her face and body but the numbers worked out pretty well. In the first week she lost almost 7 pounds and three inches off of her waist. She wasn't much heavier than you are presently but she seems to have some dissatisfaction with her midsection. In any case, if you have it to lose it'll go. The plan she's following calls for some of the things she eats to be proteins and fats...which means meats. Like I said, it may not work for you but if you want more information on that diet there's a great book on it in addition to a website (www.flatbelly.com). Good luck, at 15 I'm sure you won't have any trouble with 16 pesky pounds. Just remember, you won't lose ANY weight if you don't get protein...your body will actually force you to stay at your present weight or may cause you to gain pounds as a survival tactic.

You don't sound like you really need to lose much weight. 8 lbs a month is actually a lot of weight to lose, but it is doable. You just need to do a lot of calorie burning exercises and make sure you are eating healthy as well. MAKE SURE YOU EAT TOO!! YOU NEED TO EAT TO LOSE WEIGHT, JUST MAKE SURE YOU'RE EATING HEALTHY! Running, Swimming, Hiking, Kayaking, Jump Rope. All of these things will help you burn the calories, but again 5 7 and 148lbs is probably a healthy weight especially being only 15. Maybe consider cutting your weight loss goal in half and if you still want to lose more go for it, but you don't want to be unhealthy skinny. You want to be FIT!!!

Eat salads but watch what dressings you use I suggest olive oil and vinegar. substitute beef and pork for mostly fish and grilled chicken (no skin).
work out 30 mins a day, but switch it up every now and then don't let you body get use to it
so like... running one day, and weigh lifting another but not a lot of weight you sound like you just wanna lose it and maybe get a bit toner. Just stay active and don't eat the yolk of the egg.lol. and also keep to wheat like no white bread. No white rice brown is better, I know it sounds distaste full but you be okay.
get 8hrs of sleep and whatever you do keep your chin up don't panic and go anorexic PLEASE.lol.
Hope it helps you out and good luck in the long run :)

With a target weight loss of 8lbs in a month, you can do it. Just make sure you do it healthy. You aim should be to burn more calories than you consume. Based on your weight, you should go on a fat free diet of 800-1000 calories per day. Drink plenty of water. Take daily Vitamin supplements, if necessary. Complete at least 30 minutes of cardio 5 days a week. Fitness training 3 days a week for 30 minutes. You should rapidly feel and see the results. This method works for me every time I set out to lose weight. Let me know how it works out!

You need to cut sugar completely from your diet. Don't add sugar to anything. Don't eat anything that is naturally high in sugar like fruit and fruit juice, corn etc. Drink only bottled water. Eat very low or no-fat food. Don't eat late at night. Eat lots of veggies and drink veggie drinks (eg. V8) whenever you are hungry. Eat chicken breast for protein. DON'T STARVE YOURSELF.
As far as exercise is concerned, walking long distances is a good start. Find a sport that you like and stick with it.

go to beachbody.com and buy Turbo Jam. It is an amazing and fun workout. I have lost 15 lbs and 4 pant sizes since march (which im not that big and didnt think that much was possible) and you get some amazing tone/definition. Just remember its inches that matter not lbs.

u can starve yourself and workout...or u can avoid all fatty foods increase ur fiber and protient watch ur calories and work out. Fact is in orer for u to lose weight u have to burn more than what u intake... so watch ur calories drink plenty of water to flush! flush! flush!
good luck.

just try eating healthier. if you want unhealthy food, try eating it in a small portion. but by looking at your height and weight, it doesn't really seem like you need to lose weight. you're at a healthy weight

heres what i do.
i am 5'3 and weight 110.
i first started watching what i ate.
3 meals a day and one snack each day.
i only drink milk, diet coke, and water.
lots and lots of water.
i make sure i try to lay off the junk food although i still do eat a little.
i eat alot of salads, sandwiches, raisins, fruits, yogurt, and other healthy alternatives to junk food.
i do about 100 jumping jacks 3 times a day.
in the morning, after lunch, and before bed.
i also do 100 different kinds of ab workouts 2 times a day.
right before bed and whenever else i have a chance.
i also participate in sports 3 times a week for 4 hours,
so that also gives me exercise.
& in a week a lost 2 pounds !

so just exercise, eat healthy, and watch what you eat.
i say dont beat yourself up about it, just keep yourself healthy.

hope this helps.
