No; meat causes weight gain. It also strongly contributes to poor health.
If you are serious about losing weight & eating healthy, consider becoming a vegetarian. Have you ever seen an overweight vegetarian?

yes you can lose weight my mom just did it (3 day cleansing) : eat as much red unseasoned (salt sub)meat as you can with green unseasoned veggies and a one orange a day...it works...i want to know would it work with a grapefruit? i'll try it one day...after i have my baby..lol hope it works for you!!!

I would think it depends on how much meat, and what kinds of meat. White meat is def. way better than red meat.

Yes, you would definitely lose weight, but consuming just meat and water is extremely dangerous to your health. You can end up with heart problems, experience kidney and or liver failure. If you are planing on doing this anyway I would suggest only do it for one week, and after that week incorporate fruits, veg, and whole wheat pasta (hodgesons)or potatoes.

Yep, you'll probably lose weight. As well as major organ function, vision, hair, sleep, energy... The list goes on.

You must eat a balanced diet, your body is far too complex to subsist on animal protein alone.

You can but you will become severely constipated and not get nutrients. If you're interesting in loosing weight by cutting out carbs check out the atkins diet or south beach (healthier than atkins) or I'd suggest reading the book Real Food by Nina Planck as thats much more realistic over the long term.

Might work, but it seems unbalanced. You need fruits, veggies, and bread as well or you may suffer from malnutrition later.

have you tried excercise and eating right? THE ANSWER IS NO YOU WILL ACTUALLY END UP GAINING MORE WEIGHT. YOU'RE BODY IS GOING TO SLOW ITS METABOLISM WAY DOWN SO IT DOESN'T USE UP THE FEW "GOOD" NUTRIENTS YOU'RE FEEDING IT. THEN WHEN YOU START TO EAT RIGHT AGAIN, YOU'RE GOING TO GAIN WEIGHT LIKE CRAZY.

yes, and it is very effective BUT it's gets old quick and once you start eating the other items again the weight will just come back. Also the health risk are just as bad if not worse than being overweight. I did an Atkins type thing nothing but meat, cheese and eggs for 2 months. I lost 40 pounds. Now I probably need a quad bypass from all the fat I ate. I guess at least they dont have to cut thru all that fat to get to my heart. Actually put all the weight back on as soon as I started eating normal again.

the atkins diet is somewhat like that and it is very affective. Type in atkins diet and read their list of foods. Meat of all kinds, eggs, cheese, etc. My son and I both lost lots of weight on it.

That doesn't sound good for your body, I would try a fruit and vegetable diet and litte bit of white meat.

Where in the world did you get that idea? Its not healthy! Try eating LESS meat if anything and more raw food, more veggies, fruit, nuts, whole grains, beans... etc...

not a healthy idea...how about fruits,,veggies,,small protions of chicken and fish....that will do the trick...oh yeah...drink lots of that water...and go for a walk once a day...good luck

I don't think so. Water is the main thing in the body and if you just drank water, sure, but even that's risky. Meat isn't bad for you because it gives you the iron and sometimes the protein you need so you don't become anemic; however, i think you might consider just eating smaller portions of meat and lots of fruits and vegetables to go with it. A good portion of meat is about the size of your fist.

I'm sure you can but why would you want to abuse your body like that?? You can be sure tht the weight will just come back after you resume your normal eating habits.
Best bet is to eat a BALANCED diet & yes, drink LOTS of water.
Be good to yourself -- your whole self, not just the exterior appearance & shape.
