You will make things worse, I had a friend that did that crap last yr. and made it were the nerves were ON POINT and KILLING him.... so go to the dent. and get meds,,, have the stitch it up, and there are many different way that they can grow in... be careful that you don't hit any nerves!!! PLS DON'T, but if you do, best of luck to you !!!!

I feel like doing that right now believe me (scheduled for surgery tommorow at 10).....Not advisable though...stick with the plan to see the oral surgeon!! Motrin for the pain..and take antibiotics..if you think there is an infection...I have been in agony for 10 days now..darn wisdom teeth.....why oh why??~!!

YEARS AGO I HAD A PATIENT WHO HAD A FIFTH OF WHISKEY, SOME CHANNEL-LOCK PLIERS, AND ATTEMPTED TO TRY TO DO HIS OWN EXTRACTIONS. WHEN HE CAME TO SEE ME, I HAD TO DO SURGICAL EXTRACTIONS OF WHAT DAMAGE HE HAD DONE TO HIS TETH. WHEN ASKED HIM WHY HE HADN'T SEEN A DENTIST, HE HAD SAID WAS BECAUSE HE WAS SCARED OF THE DENTAL PAIN. HAD HE DONE THESE EXTRACTIONS PROPERLY BY A DENTIST, HIS EXPERIENCE WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH BETTER.

It will hurt like hell. And most likely an infection. But really I don't think you got the balls to do that.

You might want to get plastered drunk before you do something like that, but then again, you would probably bleed more because alcohol thins the blood. Seriously, not sure why you would want to do it yourself, but if you can handle a ton of pain, then go for it. As far as what would happen...you would probably be in a ton of pain, bleed profusely and maybe save a bit of money by not having a dentist do it.

Good Luck!!

you must be kidding, not even the dentist himself can remove the wisdom tooth. Anyway, let you know is very pain to remove it, especially the lower ones. Total you should have 2 upper and 2 lower ones.

Are you for real? Do you have any idea what a BAD idea this is? Not only would it be extremely painful but you could rip out part of your jaw, or not be able to get them completely out which would require an expensive trip to the emergency room, cause permanent nerve damage, or cause other damage to your mouth that you would never be able to get over.
Dentists take x-rays of your teeth good reasons. One of them is so they will know the best procedure to get a tooth out if they have to pull it. Sometimes removing wisdom teeth requires surgery because of the position the tooth is in.
If you want to do something this stupid and self destructive, go ahead. All I can say is that you must be a masochist in the extreme!

If you're trying to do that, someone already removed your wisdom!

SunshineGirl
If you remove your own molars and place them under your pillow you will get a present from the tooth fairy. It will be a nickel and a note from Bill Engvall that says "Here's Your Sign."

After having mine cut out by a competent oral surgeon and remembering the trouble he had in doing the extractions------------no, I don't have a clue as to what would happen if YOU tried to remove your own wisdom teeth yourself. I do think that you should video tape the show and put it on YouTube if you survive. It should be a winner of a tape and you could wind up famous as the guy who ripped off the lower half of his face all by himself! Remember, when you are rich that I am the one who suggested the taping and where to air it so you could get rich and famous! I'll be watching for you on YouTube! (and looking for a check in the mail)

Ummmm....severe pain, followed by severe bleeding, followed by giving yourself sh!t for pulling such a dumb a@@ stunt, followed by passing out. Followed by one full week of looking like a chipmunk with it's cheeks stuffed. Trust me, go to the dentist and get the gas.

James
Besides passing out and most likely having the open wounds infected? Oh, and don't forget not having any pain medication after the procedure. This is the worst idea I have heard in a long time.
