Put a penny in a can of coke for a few weeks. Then dump it out.(if you leave it in long enough, the penny will disappear) Now imagine that on your teeth. Still tastes good.

Gone
nothing
but it contains too much sugar, bad to your heart.

infamousheavyt
If you drink it right before bed it makes your teeth taste delicious in the morning.

Dont_do_that
Cavities, big holes, gum disease. not only coca cola but all kind of soda.

Citizen North
The sugar eats away at them, slowly.

starrwoode
regular coke with sugar can rot teeth just as any sugared substance can, and with or without sugar coke can stain your teeth like tea and coffee can.

Soda like cola is notorious for rotting teeth. all the sugar just decays them. I would recommend brushing your teeth after drinking a bottle, or water :)

Pearl
turns them yellow, erodes enamel.

i am not sure if this is real or an urban legend, but i have heard that if you leave a tooth in a cup filled with coke for a few weeks, the tooth will be partly dissolved.

Boots
It stains them, and the sugar can cause cavities. Plus the acid can eat away at the enamel, but the latter is unlikely.

it corrodes the teeth and makes it powdery....

COKE CONTAINS CITRIC ACID. TO TEST COKES ABILITY TO CLTTTTEAN PUT A HEAVILY STAINED Copper COIN INTO COKE. SHOULD A CHILDS TOOTH FALL OUT IF PLACED IN COKE THE TOOTH OVER A FEW DAYS STAINS ALMOST AS BAD AS COKE. COKE IS ADDICTIVE A DRUG CAFFINE IS ADDED. THERES ALOT OF SUGAR IN COKE SO THIS AND CITRIC ACID ROT TEETH.THANKS FOR READING.

SUBHA CHANDRAKUMAR
hello friend !!
Coca cola actually dissolves the teeth completely. a few years ago an experiment was conducted in which a tooth was put into a coca cola bottle and left undistrubed. later it was found that the tooth dissolved in coca cola.the carbon di oxide gas which is compressed in it reacts with the enamel of teeth and slowly destroys it completely. so it is not good to have coca cola.

Coca Cola can take the acid off of a car battery. It can and will completely destroy your teeth over a matter of years. I brushed my teeth twice a day but had to have all of mine crowned due to cokes.

yeah it corrodes the teeth

Missy
No urban legend on the corroding thing... we did that in science class years ago, in just one day you saw a difference. Now in your mouth, it will be a much slower, more painful process.
Have a Coke and a Smile :) while you still got it

3kewenay3
Coca Cola is high in sugar and acid. Both are bad for teeth as they attack the enamel coating.

Whn evr u drink coke a smail layer of enamil wil erode away and ur that layer will grow back.No matter wat u eat tis will happen its the intensity at which it takes place. So in long term its no gud....watng too much energy on buildng enamel for ur teeth

scatty
LOADS ROOTS THE TEETH! GOOD TEST IF EVER YOU HAVE A TOOTH OUT KEEP IT AND STICK IT IN A GLASS FILLED WITH COKE.....!! SEE HOW LONG IT TAKES TO ROT!

Asa Rica
Coca-Cola contains caramel coloring, high fructose corn syrup and/or sucrose, phosphoric acid, among other ingredients listed on the product label. Depending how much you drink and how long you hold the drink in your mouth (as opposed to swallowing it right away), (1) the caramel coloring may stain the enamel of the teeth. (2) the sweetener may cause tooth decay and (3) the phosphoric acid may damage the enamel of the teeth. You would probably have to be consuming and leaving your teeth immersed in Coca-Cola for long period of time to see (3) happen. However as with any caramel colored beverages as well as coffee and tea, they will stain your teeth gradually. Sweetener as well as sugar are also not great for your teeth, but make sure you brush your teeth regularly, you should be okay.

Running Man
it has the same effect that coffee does. It makes them turn yellow or could stain them if you drink too much. Also causes a lot of cavaties more quickly. Pretty much the same as eating candy and coffee at the same time.
