you have pharyngitis, you take antibiotics, tab b-complex, and gargle with warm water 8 times a day.go and consult ENT surgeon, and get it throat swab culture reports.

Because I Said So
You may have strained your vocal chords - I don't think you can tear them. I get that way when I attend a college football game the next day.

Should be okay in a day or so. Try not to talk.

its unlikely that youve torn a vocal chord by shouting, just take it easy and you should be fine, if it is still there in a weeks time go see the doctor.

I'm afraid you've set up a situation that has turned into a vicious cycle.
Because of your cold and coughing, your vocal cords had already become swollen, which is the reason the pitch of your voice had lowered. If you can imagine the difference between the high-pitched string on a guitar (thin, like your vocal cords before they swelled) and the low-pitched string (how the vocal cords have thickened with the swelling) you'll understand.
Adding insult to injury, you made them swell even more by yelling and clearing your throat. Such activities make your vocal cords bang together, causing them to swell.
How to break the cycle?
1. no yelling
2. no throat clearing or coughing; the sensation of phlegm in your throat is only due to the cords' swelling. Drink room-temperature fluids, instead.
3. no singing or humming.
4. no loud whispering.
5. Rest your voice by talking as little as possible.
I recommend avoiding hot liquids. They do nothing to reduce the swelling of the area around the cords. Avoid cold liquids, as they can trigger a huge coughing fit. Neither will actually touch the vocal cords; if they did, you'd feel like you'd cough up a lung.
You should notice an improvement in about 4-5 days, with full return of your normal voice in 2-3 weeks.
If your voice fails to improve (but I bet it will), see an ENT.
