no smoking weed has nothing to do with it unless it was laced with cocaine but im pretty sure u would know if you took laced ****. Normally it means that there is something in your lungs that shouldnt be there like sharp dust particles or a fork all sorts of stuff. Also i could be from constant irritation go to the hospital..... |

If it's alot...worry. Could be something serious like tuberculous. If it's just a bit could be irritation from coughing. It it continues more than three days go see a doctor. |

i think it might be a symptom of tuberculosis.... but i wouldn't jump to conclusions... get it checked out, you can never be too cautious
and i highly doubt smoking weed has anything to do with it |

My husband was doing that. He was a smoker for 30 years plus he did welding and painting for many years. He got layed off from his job a year ago almost now, and he got on Chantix through our family doctor and was able to quit smoking when we both though he never would or even could! He's coughing up phlem off and on because during the years of smoking he developed pre-COPD, but no more blood. Have you fell or anything lately, or gotten hit around your ribs? Honestly, you should be seen at the hospital and have an mri done to get a through checking out. |

it could be many thing ,it could be scratching your throat , or winedpipe , or something wrong with the lungs , my best advice as long u asked about smoking and cough it seams u are smoker , so u should see the doctor and don't wait . |

Coughing up blood could mean anything from just throat irritation (which would be from smoking too much) or tuberculosis. Your best bet would be to go to a doctor, especially if it progresses or continues for more than a couple of days. |
