Every night I scream and cry in my sleep to be left alone?
I rarely catch myself doing this, it is mostly reports from my family members due to me waking them up with screams of me in pain and crying and cursing. Sometimes I will catch myself because I will be screaming, yelling, or moaning in my sleep and wake up in the middle of it. Idk if this has anything to do with, but i have psychotic depression. This has been going on for years and years, nothing new but I am curious as to why it happens. It happens every night and I'm always screaming "leave me alone!" and crying, punching, kicking, cursing, etc. It leaves me bruises sometimes from hitting objects in my sleep.

Those are demons. Youll have to decide if you want to face it or not.

PSYCHOSIS: Take at least 4 Omega 3 fish oil supplements, or preferably at least 1.5 grams of fish oil daily: (certified free of mercury) it is best if consumed with an antioxidant, such as an orange, or its FRESHLY SQUEEZED juice. If vitamin E is added, it should be certified as being 100% from natural sources, or it may be synthetic: avoid it! Vegetarians: Google: "Omega 3; algae; supplies" and use with flaxseed. www.mercola.com * SEARCHBAR. Dr. J Cannell, at http://vitaminDcouncil.org recommends 20,000iu of vitamin D3 daily, with frequent testing to ensure levels of at least 100nmol/l are maintained, for psychosis, and then reduce to around 5000 IU daily (Dr. Mercola recommends 5000 IU to 8000 IU for most healthy people). Dr. Kim, at www.drbenkim.com holds similar views. FOR PEOPLE NOT SUFFERING FROM PSYCHOSIS (HALLUCINATIONS & DELUSIONAL STATES): Dr Mercola, at http://www.mercola.com advises: in the winter months, if not getting sufficient daily exposure to strong light, go to a doctor and ask for a 25(OH)D, also called 25-hydroxyvitamin D, blood test. When you get the results, don’t follow the typical “normal” reference range, as these are too low. The OPTIMAL value that you’re looking for is 45-52 ng/ml (115-128 nmol/l)". The company which tests your levels has to be one of those using the correct form of test, and this topic is addressed via the searchbar at Mercola.com - "vitamin D3; testing". View http://drbenkim.com/vitamin-d-facts.htm & http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2008/12/16/my-one-hour-vitamin-d-lecture-to-clear-up-all-your-confusion-on-this-vital-nutrient.aspx 59% of Americans are deficient in the extremely important vitamin D3, with their lowest levels occurring in late winter, and early spring.

Canadians get even less sunlight exposure. People with the lowest levels are 11 times more likely to suffer depression (psychosis can occur with major) depression. Dr. Cannell advises that the co-factors most often deficient in the American diet, and necessary to optimise its absorption, and utilisation are magnesium, zinc, boron, and vitamin K2. I recommend using either health food/vitamin stores, or Googling: " ... ; supplies" rather than risking any old, or substandard products at supermarkets, or even on pharmacy shelves. I use http://www.xtend-life.com/product/Total_Balance_Mens.aspx as it contains all of them, but it needs additional vitamin D3. They have regular, and premium varieties for women (mercola have a good quality natural multivitamin + minerals, although it doesn't state whether it contains vitamin K2). The only American vitamin D3 product that I can recommend is from mercola.com, but I prefer the high quality: http://www.healthpost.co.nz/Supplements/Vitamins/Vitamin_A,_D_&_K/NLD/Vitamin-D3-1000iu-Plus-Boron-And-Selenium.html or one of the others, if unavailable. Vitamin A and vitamin D3 compete for absorption using the same metabolic pathway, so I no longer recommend cod liver oil as a source of either. Take the 2 separately, at least a few hours apart, if using both, but most people don't need vitamin A if eating a reasonably healthy, balanced diet. The Omega 3 and vitamin D3 will act as preventatives for a wide variety of disorders and diseases, both physical and psychological, as well as boosting your immune system, and are 2 that most people in Western countries are deficient in, so I suggest that you recommend them to others as well. The best dietary source of vitamin K2 is natto.

Yeah, I have to google psychotic depression. Are you taking medication? It seems that your actions are coming due to psychotic depression. Also, are you in contact with a psychologist? You need to get help because your at risk for many things. Many people that has your condition gets hallucinations, which It seems that your getting in your own sleep, making you feel it's real and not fantasy. Best of luck and I hope you'll get a good night sleep! Ohh one tip, before bed log off the computer and do something relaxing and don't think about your day, which can interfere with your dreams.

Please be sure to let your pdoc know that you have been doing this. Could be the meds or maybe something that you can't remember that has happened in the past.

some medications are known to give people awful nightmares.
Im not saying go off your meds, especially not without seeing your doctor.
You could research on the net if other people have had a similar experience on the same meds as your taking
