It's normal to hear it sometimes, but hearing it loudly for extended periods of time is a bit odd. |

That happens to me when I run. I think it just means your heart is pounding really hard/fast. I don't know the scientific explanation but I'm sure you can look it up. |

it definatly means high blood pressure! if this happens to you often i would go to the doc and get it checked out! |

It mainly happens after exertion when your heart is beating strongly to get more oxygen around your body. You're not hearing your heart, you're just hearing your pulse very strongly. |

that happens to me sometimes when i get a bad headache |

I think it happens to everyone but I don't think it's your heart you are hearing, it is your pulse from the coradid artery. If your embarrised and blood rushes to your face, you may hear your artery. |
|

...
|
I can hear it sometimes before I go to bed and have my ear pressed against my pillow, no idea why though it goes in rhythm with my heart so I think it is it beating. |

its the blood being pumped around your head and it sounds like your heart |

If you mean when your laying on your pillow then nothings wrong thats normal, but if you can hear your heart beating in your ears while your sitting up or standing then it could mean high blood pressure, just get it checked out by your doc, but dont panic cos that only makes it worse by bringing on anxiety, I'm sure ur okay, cheers |

You're just hearing your blood rushing through the veins near your ears. It may happen when your nervous, or when you've just done something that makes your heart beat faster. Don't worry, nothing is wrong! It happens to me too...it used to happen to me a lot when I would go to bed when I was little because I was afraid of monsters haha :P |

There might be a lot of fluid in your middle ear, causing your pulse to register in your ears. |
