A sore throat shouldn't be going on for this long. If you have not used any type of medication already to soothe it, one thing you can do is gargle with salt water. It would be best to get to your doctor to see what's going on. |

I am not a doctor, but I think the drain in the mouth accumulate in a spot that will cause the infection feeling. Clearing it in the morning with blowing your nose or caughing will remove it. Also, very high or very low pillow can cause it. Good hygene and rinse with salt water at night will help better feeling in the morning. |

If you smoke cigarettes or anything else, that's probably the cause. If not, you could just be dehydrated so drink more water daily. It could also have something to do with the climate in your home (dryness of the air, mold, etc). It could be the air from where you work or spend most of your time. Anything of these things could be causing it. |

Maybe you have phlem built up in your chest. Try couging and spitting(gross..yea) when you wake up to try and clear your breathing passages. In the evening see if the same thing helps. Im not an doctor but I have to do the same thing when I wake up... |

have u been sleeping with the fan on? window open? or a/c blowing on you? if your sinuses are cooling down at night that may be the problem...try closing the window, turning off the fan or a/c and see what happens for about 2 days...if it goes away, there u have it.. |
