The key for losing those unwanted pounds is not difficult - eat less food and exercise more often - the problems appear when we really try to put that into operation! There are lots of opportunities to fail in the real world don't you think?! I found some excellent information by visiting the web resource in the box below, they have lots of instruction, I shed 6 pounds by doing as they advised.

I'll give you the same answer any doctor or website will tell you. EXERCISE & EAT HEALTHIER. I promise i'm not trying to be mean or anything, but that's the safest way to do it.

Now if you want to do it the easy way, tell your doctor you have adhd and he'll prescribe you Adderall or something similar. It makes you feel not hungry. Two of my friends lost 30-40 pounds in about 3-4 months.

It's kind of impossible to lose 40 pounds in a month, much less a few weeks. You'd end up with bunches of extra skin and stuff. If you really wanna go there though, Coke will make the fat melt away. Too bad it's so addicting. lol.

Not going to happen the 1st hard core week you may loose 10-11 lbs but that's a ton of exercise and diet .the next week it may be the same if you push harder , and then it drops to 5-6 a week .

ok first set out a calorie plan and stick to it!! eat about 700-600 calories a day untill you've lost some weight but dont stick to that very long because a average teen is suppose to eat 1000 calories a day but thats how i lost it and only have either one desert or soda a week and exercise but if you start to feels weird like dizziness imeditatly stop!

Eat 3 meals a day. Don't pig out, eat light. Don't eat any sweets and don't eat a lot of carbs. Exercise... a lot!!! Do 50 sit-ups every night before you go to bed. Run around the block. Don't sit around on the computer or watch TV. Move around all the time.
P.S. I don't think you'll die if you don't lose the weight in 1-3 weeks. If you keep up your unhealthy habits, then you'll have a shorter life but you won't die in 3 weeks if you don't lose the 30 pounds.

try doing some ab work outs like sit ups or v-snaps. and if you are not eating healthy try eat things with more fiber, make sure to stay away from fatty foods.

You are only going to lose that amount in that time if you chop off some limbs. You are not going to die, yes it isn't nice to look in the mirror and think 'omg' but you need to get over it and think long term. Would you rather start eating sensibly and exercising and blossom into a slim healthy adult, or hop on the diet wagon and be twice as heavy by the time you are 30.

I don't know what you would need to lose all that for but I think your only supposed to lose like 5 pounds a week.

First off, just take a nice deep breath. Your not going to Die.

www.sparkteen.com Is a great website for teens. You set your goal. And you will see all the things you need to lose weight, but you have to sign up first. Don't worry its 100% free and its not fake.

It teaches you on what you need to be doing, and you can plan your exercising days. What you need to do is Cardio. Cardio is what pumps up your heart and burns fat. Try doing Cardio for 30-60 minutes a day about 3-5 times a week.

Examples=Jogging, walking, running, jump roping, dancing

Also in the website it explains you need some strength, so try going to the website. It shows you some ten minute strength exercise you can do Which include, Squats, push ups, lunges, side crunches, and more. This helps tone the body, 1-3 times a week. And when you do this don't do it like Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Try resting a couple of days. If you don't rest your going to be too weak to do any of the exercises.

On the website it also tells you about nutrition. Try eating 6 small meals a day. Or keep track of your calorie intake.

and Try to drink 8 glasses of water a day. Though that seems a bit hard for me to do. But just try to drink enough water, without over drinking.

you should do more excersise obviously... try to go one entire day per week eating just fruits, veggies, and water. it would be like detox. good luck... remember... cravings happen. dont give in. but dont be afraid to reward yourself every once in a while... but dont go overboard. stop eating fast food... and try going organic. good luck!

Ummm....if your doctor told you that, I would find a new doctor. The normal, healthy amount of weight to lose is about two to three pounds a week. It also depends on how tall you are. As you are young, you are still growing, so you could be about to have a growth spurt so you put on some weight.

To lose weight in a healthy way, you need to eat right (meaning eat fruits, veggies, lean meats, protein, and grains) and exercise. Eat reasonable portions and burn more calories than you take in. At your age taking in about 1300 to 1500 calories a day is good if you want to lose weight, normally you would want to take in 1800 to 2000 calories a day. Burn more calories than you take in by running, swimming, and exercising in other ways. If there are stairs in your house you can run up and down them, but don't do it while anyone is sleeping, they might get upset with you. If you don't have exercise equipment you can use cans of veggies as "weights" to do curls with your arms. If you have some money, get a pilates ball and pilates exercise videos. Pilates helped me to lose weight after I had my son, and it is low impact.

Remember you are beautiful, no matter what and that diets don't work!!!! Eat sensibly and work out, you will lose weight in a healthy manner!!!

EDIT: Whoever it was that said sleep less is wrong!!! Sleep is good for your body. I am not saying sleep all day, but you need 7-8 hours per night at your age, and that might be more for you, depending on what your body needs. Sleep is key to being healthy, because if you do not sleep well, your immune system is sluggish too and cannot fight off infections as well. You could get sick and that would open a whole new can of worms.

I don't think its healthy too lose that much weight that fast but all you need to is eat healthy. No junk foods. Try some diet foods, slim fast, smart ones, things like that. Go to the gym every day or every other day. DONT SNACK ON JUNK. have about 5 SMALL meals every day. You should lose weight. maybe if your parents can afford a personal trainer that will help. You just need will power

If your doctor is telling you that you need to loose that much weight in just three weeks, you need to seek a second opinion. Healthy weight loss is 3 or so pounds a week.

Be sure that you are eating a healthy diet. Cut back on some calories. And most importantly: MOVE! Get some exercise, whether you walk, dance, jump rope, run up and down stairs...get to movin'! :)

Change your eating habits and exercise. If you are determined you will lose it. However, you should not try loosing that much weight in just three weeks. It is unhealthy. I recommend you take at least three months to lose that amount of weight.

I really do not mean to discourage you, and I hope everything turns out right for you.

No doctor is going to tell you to loss 30-50 pounds in 1-3 weeks. esp when you are only at the 90 percentile for your age.

Just so you know, losing 30-50 lbs in 1-3 weeks is EXTREMELY UNHEALTHY. your doctor should know better. healthy weight loss is usually around 2-5 pounds a week depending on your starting weight and height. I don't even think that people that have had gastric bypass surgery lose weight THAT fast.
I would recommend just exercising and eating small portions throughout the day.

It ain't gonna happen in 1-3 weeks, and no, you won't die. Your doctor should be giving you suggestions on how to lose weight SAFELY.

If your doctor told you to lose 30-50lbs in 1-3 weeks file a complaint and get his license revoked, because he's a freakin quack. I really doubt your doctor told you 1-3 weeks. To lose 30lbs would take at the very least 15weeks (at the very least). 50lbs would take at the very least 25weeks (that's half a year).

Why the hell don't you ask your doctor, not us-some random people on the internet? And I really doubt you are going to die in 1-3weeks. If so, you would probably be in the hospital, or at the very least the doctor would have given you some weight loss advice.

To lose fat:
1. DON’T BELIEVE THOSE FAD DIETS! DIET PILLS ARE GIMMICKS!
2. DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF! Unless you are 4ft tall, a 1,200 calorie a day diet is DANGEROUS and won't work in the long run.
3. Calculate your BMR. Do a google search. A good calculator would ask for your age, height, weight, and activity level.
4. Eat healthy and eat about 500 calories a day less than your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). Your BMR is how many calories you need per day to maintain your current weight.
5. Eat 5-6 small meals a day. This keeps your metabolism up. Each meal should include fruits, veggies, water, and protein.
5. Drink at least 64oz (8 8oz glasses) of water a day. No soda (that includes diet soda).
6. Do light/moderate cardio 3 to 5 times a week for 30 to 45 minutes each time. Running, bicycling, and swimming are great for this.
7. Do some strength training to make sure you lose fat and not muscle. Don't worry; you won't look like the hulk if you lift weights.
8. You should lose about 1-2lbs per week. If you lose more than that, chances are the rest is stool, water weight, or even muscle mass.
9. Weigh yourself only once a week at the same time (ie every Friday morning). Your weight fluctuates a lot during any 24hour period because of water and food intake and also bowel movements.
Be patient and be smart. If you follow this guideline you will be very happy with your results.

Hun, 30-50 pounds is too much to lose in 1-3 weeks. It would no be healthy. Not to say that it won't be easy to lose, but that's jsut way too short of a time limit. I'd say 10 pnds a month would be a good goal, and even that is kind of a lot. As for the dying, im guessing that was just exaturation.. Jog.. eat 3 meals a day, porperly portioned, snack on veggies... Eat a salad with every meal, with non fat dressing. Jog, take long walks.. etc.
