Would this make you uncomfortable? Guys & Girls!?
Girls: Would you be uncomfortable talking to a guy about your period? (If he asked... or if you brought it up)

Guys: Would you be uncomfortable asking/talking about periods to a girl? (Such as "oh is it that time of the month... how's it going?" or a girl mentioning she has hers?)

Depends on the guy. But for the most part, nope. If he asks, he's getting an honest answer, even if it weirds him out. If I bring it up, I'm a little more tactful. And I would usually only bring it up to my doctor, or boyfriend.

If they brought it up first, of course I'd be very comfortable. People or (guys) get curious and that's normal, so I'd feel flattered that they would feel comfortable enough in asking me something like that.

Nope, usually I find it easier to say I'm on my period, it save a lot of trouble because guys dont understand not to say "are you on your period" when your upset, so I tell them I will notify them.

depends on my relationship with the guy. if it was my boyfriend, husband or best guy friend...then yes. otherwise no.

no, as long as I knew them well. I'm lucky to be in a relationship with a pretty sensitive guy. He's not completely grossed out by any of my girl issues. He knows it's a fact of life.

I wouldn't ask my wife, people say there are no emotional changes when women are "PMSing" I doubt that.... But I just leave her alone and try to help her as much as i can, ummmm soo no I wouldnt really be uncomfurtable.

i dont think it is. My boyfriend ask me all the time if its that time of the month, there just wondering bc the moods change in us and we become bitchy all the time. but he also ask me b/c that way we know that im not getting pregnant which is also a good fact.

I wouldnt talk to any random guy about it, it would be uncomfortable. But I do occasionally talk about it with my boyfriend of 5yrs and its not uncomfortable when I talk with him.

I wouldn't think it would be wierd if he wanted to ask questions, but I probably wouldn't mention it. I'd be afriad it would make him freak out.

i would only be uncomfortable if i wasn't asked about it, but i had to talk about it... guys don't like to hear about that stuff.

Thats not something you usually have to bring up to a guy... girsl are to open to it now-a-days.

Ladies, guys don't want to talk about it, or listen to you talk about it.... Stop it!

i know some women who don't have a problem with it and others have major issues. if it affects moods or social interaction, I, as a guy, definitely want to know and talk about it. this can perhaps prepare men to be more "sensitive" and "understanding." i think parents should teach their sons about it too, and save them from a lifetime of confusion!

In my opinion this should be an unspoken fact of life between the two sexes. We cannot understand what you're going through, and I'm pretty sure you don't want to tell us.

It Deppends if its your boyfriend, really good friend, or just a curious guy. If it was a really good friend i would be kinda embarrassed. If my boyfriend brought it up i would be more comfortable but not totally open.

I sit with chicks sometimes in the mornings before school...or during lunch...they just start talking about their's right in front of me like its nothing i wouldnt want to hear...

Frankly...lol....im used to it...I just think to myself, "Why am I still sitting here."

If they continue talking about it for more than like, 5 or 6 minutes...i'll just excuse myself and leave.

I would be uncomfortable if a guy said to me, "oh is it that time of the month... how's it going?" What do you mean how is it going? Certainly there will be no good answer to that question!

I'm female. Women should not be ashamed of their periods. Its not dirty or gross. I dont know why its such a hush hush thing. If Im pmsing and my guy friends are around and I feel they should know for whatever reason I tell them. I also live with my bf and I talk to him about it. Its just something your body does. Its part of what makes you a woman.
