RissaRye	Its because of the role models young girls have nowadays...do you think role models like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton are setting a good example for our young females? They see stuff on TV and in magazines and think that is what is expected of them...young girls are starting to dress more provocatively as well, also due to what they see in media and culture...when I was 13 I would NEVER have gotten away with wearing the things that young girls are wearing nowadays...just look at the people these girls are looking up to and there is your answer...young girls need more positive and respectable young women to look up to..... tlimsisnw7	look at the world we live in. It has unfortunately become the norm. I find it sad, when i was 13 I was still playing with barbies, it seems that is over with by the time they are 9. There really isn't anything that can be done, seeing as nudity and profanity is increasingly becoming more and more acceptable on tv and in magazines, everywhere you go, sex is everywhere. supercool1113	People give into peer pressure and feel that they are cool if they do it. It is also because they feel insecure about themselves, and if somebody wants to do it with them, it gives them the impression that somebody cares for hem and they do it. Danger	I think alot of the blame falls on absntee parents, and poor sexual education. Kate the Great!	I personally lost my V-card when I was seventeen. I think that kids are loosing their virginity so early because they think it will make them cooler. It really won't. Sex isn't that popular in high school and doesn't make you as cool as it makes the kids in movies. No one really cares if you've had sex or not; so really, they're just wasting their time and effort. Circuits	I agree with you. There are 10 year olds losing it, and 12 year olds getting pregnant. It's disgusting. At 10.. heck I was so innocent compared to today, it's sad. These days, it's apparently 'uncool' to be a virgin once you're 20. I disagree, and I also hate how kids are having sex to fit in. You just don't give your virginity away to someone, you save it for someone who really loves you for you. I think it's because of the media personally, and all the provactive images we see in magazines nowadays, the sexual overtones. Look at the clothing styles, there are clothes for little girls that are way to risque for their age. Disgusting, I see it everytime I go to the mall.
