They're man nipples...some men can produce milk |

Embroyos follow the same pattern of development initially without considering whether the fetus is male or female, so men have nipples as well. (Although I have heard that the woman's clitoris is an undeveloped penis.) |

When we are fetuses, everyone is female. Its only when the baby matures a little when boy parts come. Females have nipples to feed babies lol |

And ladies let me tell you from a mans perspective................if you want to play with a mans nipples please know that it does nothing for us. They aren't turned on and are obviously in the off position permanently. |

Everything we have, they have in some vestigial form. Everything they have, we have in some vestigial form. |

During conception we are all female until some factor determines our sex, sometimes it goes wrong, causing the child problems in identifying it's true gender, this leads to homosexual or lesbian preference. |

because sex isnt determened until it is three or four months inside. so thats why they start to develop, than stop. |

this is what my health teacher told me: females have two XX chromosomes that make them female, and males have an XY chromosomes that make them male. but the X chromosome that males have actually make them part female, because the X chromosomes are the ones with all the DNA info....i dunno. that's what she said..... |

nature likes things simple... when a baby starts off developing inside it's mother's womb, it is neither male nor female. This means that nature can be lazy (efficient) and the same process can be used to create a human life up to that point regardless of whether it will eventually turn into a boy or a girl durting that creation process, the body starts growing the most complex bits first - the bits which take longest to develop....think about it, a girls breasts don't fully stop developing until she becomes a woman - so those bits have to be some of the first to develop unfortunately(?) this means they have to start developing BEFORE the body becomes male or female. once it becomes male (which it does half the time) it's too late, and the nipples are already there! it doesn't do the guy any harm and it keeps the creation process simple the simpler it is, the less likely it is that something will go wrong....and the more successful it will be |

Men and women are exactly the same. We all start out the same, too. It's hormones/chromosomes that determine whether your ovaries are going to drop into testicles, etc. Male breasts and female breasts have the exact same anatomy. Men are even capable of breastfeeding a baby. |

All animals have nipples. The male nipple is only "simbolic" and not active or developed. |

Because at conception all embryos are the same sex(female), it is later on, after the forming of nipples, that the hormones that determine whether or not it will be male. It is also why male genitalia is fairly similar to female. |

simply because all humans begin their life cycle in the womb as females... If no Y chromosome is present in the foetus, then the embryo will continue to develop as and be born as a female. If there is a Y chromosome present in the embryo, the male sex hormone Testosterone restricts the full development of breasts to just nipples, the labia fuse to become the scrotum and clitoris develops fully to become a penis. If the Y chromosome prevails in producing a male, this is not done without a fight. Male babies are weaker as a result than female ones, occounting for the slightly higher death rate in male babies. |

Are we all bisexual, then... |

Because as embryo's we are all inherently, externally at least, female unless and until male hormones are introduced during the appropriate time of gestation. |

Because all fetuses, until the 3rd month when either the estrogen or Testosterone kick in, are biologically female. |

Well when a woman is impregnated the embryo starts off as female and later an extra X or Y chromosome is added. This extra chromosome determines the sex and it is possible that the nipples develop before the extra chromosome is added. |

Because they develop during the fetal period before the gender of the baby is decided. There's actually a book out that has many questions like that answered called "Why do guys have Nipples?"... I was bored in Target one day... |

Just a leftover from the embryonic stage when we were all female. Plus some guys have very sensitive ones so it aids in stimulation. And aesthetics! Don't you think they'd look kinda funny without them? |
|

We are a "version" of a female, actually. Hormones *convert* us from being a female to a male. Ordinarily, over time our nipples would go away if we didn't need them (millions of years), but women need them, so we thus have them also. We just don't (normally) produce milk. |

Because in the womb everyone starts out as a girl, then the guys receive more Testosterone and grow their special parts. |
|
| |
ridiculousthing |
because the nipples develop on feotus before the sex is detemined. |

because we all started out as girls. then at a certain point the male bit kicks in and some of us become male. |
