Lena E	Pro-Choice. I think abortion is okay when the pregnancy was caused by rape or incest. I also think it is okay when proceeding to have the child will not only ruin the life of the parent, but when the parent also is not capable of offering that child a proper life. (By this I mean trashy 13 year olds who's parents kicked them out because they don't know how to raise them, people who are legally handicap and unable to care of a child, or those people who cannot financially or mentally stable enough to give a child a proper standard of living.) Claire B	Any well informed decision/choice that is made about your own body and your ability to handle a situation is, in my view, OK. There are so many ill-treated, abused and neglected children in this world, if a woman knew that this would be the end result for any child she brought into the world and there was nothing in her power to change her circumstances, then I believe that abortion may well be the right choice. Abortion as a form of contraception however, is not OK. I was adopted and am clearly grateful that my birth mother did not have an abortion. My brothers birth mother was raped by a family member, went on to give birth to him and later suicided. I don't know if having had an abortion would've changed the outcome for her or not. What I'm trying to get at is that every situation is different and unique and brings its own complications with it - who am I to judge someone elses life and/or decisions? Would I rather see a child sexually abused and beaten than think of it being aborted whilst still in the womb? Probably not. So I must be pro-choice. I'm pro giving every child that does make it into this world a good life full of love and care and support, so I'm pro-life too. If the pro-lifers spent as much time trying to make life better for the children who did make it and are suffering than for those who never made it - would the world be a better place? lalala	i agree with the pinky person. im definately pro life. but i still dont think i could have an abortion even if i was raped. i still consider it murder. but i wouldnt judge anyone for getting one if they were raped. but its never acceptable to kill your unborn child if you purposefully have sex. actions have consequences. and thats just an awful consequence. if your old enough to have sex, your old enough to take care of a kid. you can take it or leave it....	I personally do not believe in abortion unless a woman is raped or incest is involved. Thats just my opinion. I dont know what to consider my views cause I dont think it should be used as a form of birth control, but in the cases I stated, I do think a woman should be able to choose. russellP	I like to consider myself 'Pro-life' but my views I guess are 'Pro-choice'. I think that abortion is a very touchy subject and I think that a person should have the right to get and abortion if they believe it is the best decision. I also believe that abortion is the best choice when it comes to a person with limited time in their life, a person who is subject to rape, incest, et cetera. I only believe this for the greater good of the child to be born. Let's say that a person was pregnant and she wasn't able to support the baby financially, ultimately, that child could destroy a life. Not saying that babies are bad things, they aren't, but saying that a person who can't properley care for the baby should be able to because it isn't fare that that child should have to grow up in those certain circumstances. I have thought about adoption, and I think that putting a child up for adoption could lead to problems later in life. But I think more people should be more responsible. And I dont mean taking birth control or using any contraceptives. It is better to put a child up for adoption than to kill your child while it is still forming. How is that fair, killing an innocent child, even if it was just a fetus? Elyseyyy	I think that it is such a touchy subject for so many. I dont believe that people should ask this type of question because whatever people say is mainly what they would do in that situation. Every person would do something different. In my mind, a woman has the choice to do whatever she wants. God gave us free will so we must use it. I am not saying that a girl should go out and be careless and have abortions all the time but sometimes you have to do what is right for you. I consider myself pro-choice and pro-life in a sense. The pro-life aspect of me would be for the woman since it is her life that is going on right now. I know many say that life begins at conception but I really feel like if a baby knew that it was going to come into a life where it would be uncared for, malnourished and unwanted, that would not be a life it would choose to lead. I believe that the children that do not get born get incarnated into another baby and thus, it does get to have life after all. jessica h	Abortion is sometimes necessary in cases such as the baby being a product of a brutal rape. However abortion is not birth control and too many people act as if it is. I consider myself pro choice but how hard is it to put on a condom or take a pill? if you cant handle being pregnant and being a mother, dont have unprotected sex, its not rocket science and i think it upsets everyone how easily people can abort simply because they couldnt be bothered protecting themselves.
