You should go to a doctor to be sure you're not pregnant. Those test are wrong more often then they are right. And talk to your boyfriend about it. It may relax you!

Well you are stessed for your boyfriend and not eating as much. I would attribute it to that. When did you last have intercoarse though because that may make a differance=)

Well it could be due to stress, like you said.
Though perhaps also due to your weightloss, depending if you are now underweight or not.
I advise going to talk to your doctor about it to see if there is anything wrong.

First of all please go see a doctor and have an official pregnancy test. Secondly, It sounds like you are stressing your system to the point of overload. This has happen to me plenty of times, usually when I calm down my period comes back as if nothing has happened. The point is this is a warning! Your body is sending you a message that it is overloaded take time to yourself or talk to someone about what is going on in your life. Put some of your issues on here in the form of questions to get others opinions. You might find some insight from other users that never occurred to you.
I hope everything gets better for you!

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm in college and have missed twice and felt the same way but if both tests were negative i'm sure you're fine. You'd be surprised how much college can throw you off, especially if you're in the dorms on a floor with a bunch of girls.

If you're really worried, then talk to a doctor.
But I think you're just really stressed. I feel you on that; college itself presents a very big need to reorganize your life and thoughts. And that, of course, is exacerbated by your relationship problems.
I'd say just find the time to chill out and take a breather from B.S. Just get alone and comfy with a book on the sofa once in a while (with a mug of a calming herbal-tea and some jazz/classical music)-- no disruptions. Maybe start taking vitamins that are good for women's mental/physical balance? Try yoga or tai chi, even. Anything to help you calm yourself and clear your busy thoughts. You're in college now... time to be resourceful! ;)

There's this thing called stress-amenorrhea
Emotional or physical stress may block the release of luteinizing hormone, causing amenorrhea that lasts for as long as the source of stress remains.

I wouldn't worry about it, considering you have lost so much weight in such little time, that is probably the reason for it. Your body is reacting weird because of your dieting. I'm sure your homones and body are a little off, i don't know the exact medical reasoning for it, but i DO know that it is because of your weight loss and you should probably not worry about it for about another week. Still haven't gotten it? Then see a doctor because something else may be wrong.
I know girls who have been 2 months late and perfectly fine, don't overthink it. You sound a little stressed with boy problems....STRESS:also another reason

If you happen to do things like gymnastics or other physically strenuous activities frequently then it probably isn't a cause for huge alarms. Also, remember that in the adolescent stages, the menstrual cycle isn't always stable so it might not be a huge problem. Well if you really feel worried, then you should just go and see a doctor.

Both the diet change and stress can cause you to miss a period. Perhaps you should go to a GYN and get on birth control as to prevent pregnancy and regulate your menstration cycle. If you don't want to do that, than make sure you eat healthy and meditate to ease your stress.

its prolly just stress...your period reacts when your under a lot of stress or change ur eating/exercising habits. If you dont get it by the second month I would recommend going to the doctors to make sure its nothing serious. Are you on birth control? If you are you should have had it anyways, so go to the doctors....

Well, about your period situation, my best advice to you is go see a doctor and get checked out even if you feel no different because the more you prolong your situation you will consisently be stressed out and when you get answers you will be at ease. Plus it will be better if there is something wrong that way you can take care of the situation before it gets out of hand.
As far as your bf, maybe you should talk with him and see where your relationship is taking the two of you. If you just started college you don't want anything distracting you from you work and you having future success, especially the stress of relationships and always being upset. If your relationship is effecting you and your not happy then you are the only one that can change it. You need to focus on school and staying healthy because not eating is only gonna make things worse for you on top of all of your other worries.
Stay focused on what you need to do to be happy and healthy and anything that may get in the way, give it up, its not worth it and it could take control of your life sweetie...Best of Luck to you and your future!!!

o hun. your just stressed. i just finished my 1st year of college as well and i lost like 10 pounds too. you get so nervous being there and everything in the environment is new. you can just be so stressed that you are messing up your period. if they showed you were not prego, then your not. its a hard load to handle at 1st but you just have to learn how to balance everything and everything will work itself out. just make sure that your eating and staying healthy and that your going out and having fun. that way you can get your period back on track and if it doesnt soon talk to your mom and go and see a doctor. its all very normal
