First take a douche with warm water and vinegar, then get in the bath tub not a shower, you are woman you need to take a bath. Do you have body odor that you can't get rid of and you smell bad that isn't normal. Go to your Gyn OB , tell them your problem that spraying that hygiene is like putting perfume over a dirty body it makes it smell worst. Anytime you can't get rid of a bad body odor you need help. I've never had that problem but if I stopped taking care of myself I'm sure I would. You can't have intercourse and just jump in the shower you got to get that sperm out of there by douching and bathing yourself everyday. I take a bath before I go to work and a bath before I go to bed but I also take douches even with out intercourse. Get a douche bag it is a lot better cleaning than that already mixed douches to throw away. When you take a douche put your fingers over your vagina let that water get you full then let it come out, keep doing that until your douche bag is empty.

Try vinegar and water, This is telling you how old I am. This was used before the days of the other female products.
This works well and is alot cheaper then the other stuff.

You definatly need to use soap or fem. wash. Water wont wash away all the bad stuff. Don't Douch. It throws off the the balance of the good bactera and gives the bad a higer balance.

The vagina is a naturally self-cleansing body part, so douching isn't necessary to keep the vagina clean. Some women chose to use a vinegar and water douche after the end of their period, but this is not necessary. Women who like to douche, however, should do so with products that are unscented. It is not normal to have a vagina that smells like a field of flowers and can you imagine the chemicals used to create that "fragrance"... not good for you at all. If you have a 'strange' odor from you vagina, see a gynecologist!
Wash your vagina when you shower or bath with a Gentle soap or cleansing bar. Don't over-do-it or you can irritate the sensitive lining and it is not a pleasant feeling, but it will heal. I’m sure you’ve seen many TV ads for products that claim to care for your vagina, most are not necessary, unless you have a vaginal infection.

no soaps please...with its strong ingredients it might cause or give irritation...there are feminine wash available that won't irritate nor remove the good bacteria that retains our ph balance. or in case of itchiness, a tablespoonful of apple cider mixed with 1 liter of water is a very good alternative wash.

Any soap and water is fine, but if you are sensitive, try cetaphil, baby bath, ivory soap,a vinegar wash, or a fragrance free feminine wash. I read that douching in unhealthy, so you should ask your gyno before trying that. Anyhow, water just won't do the trick ;O)

Just water? Heck no! They have washes specifically for 'down there. You can also use non-harsh soaps. I use scented body washes and I alway also use baby wash. I figure what can be more gentler than babywash for such a sensitive area.....uh, just how old are you anyways?

Soap without perfume. The oils in the perfume can cause yeast infections in some women. It's best to avoid them if at all possible.

Start with soap and water. If that doesn't take care of business or you have a bad reaction, start looking at special soaps and delicate washes.
