But it is safer depending on the person giving oral sex has herpes or not.. as you can spread it to your partners genitals... type 1 prefers the mouth but you still have a chance to spread! VCC	It's common practise not to use a condom for bj's. Unless you know that he's STI clean (they're sti's now now std because they're infections not diseases) than you should use a condom to prevent catching anything (all sti's including hiv). If it's your boyfriend suggest both getting tested because you really want to blow him and not use condoms. Don't worry, he'll agree without hesitation lol! You get used to the mess really, and it's not really that messy. If your really really turned off by it, than just use condoms. Personally i don't think it's that bad. Some girls don't feel comfortable with having oral to genital contact with their partners, so they will use a condom before oral sex. The sensation for the guy obviously will be reduced, but the use of a condom in that manner is completely common!
