Reid C	Just think that you're not the only one they've seen. And your ladies so you have the same parts. Though, if you do start the hairs will grow back thicker and darker, plus while they're growing back it starts to itch. So if you start, you're gonna have to keep getting it done. Erica	I worked at a salon that offered that service. It's totally cool and informal. You walk back with a trained professional (all the ones at the spa were girls if that helps). They gave you little underware like stuff to wear. Don't do it yourself unless you know what you're doing! The girls I worked with told some horrible stories of what people had done to themselves. JD1805	Don't shave it! Take it from me it is not a good move, it grows back within a day or so and is very itchy. Not pleasant at all. I have been having mine waxed for 2/3 years, its not embarrassing at all, you keep your underwear on and the beautician will put some tissue up to the point where you want it waxed, then just do that part of the hair. It can be painful, and mine does bleed a bit but its cos i naturally have thick dark hair so it means my body hair is as well in certain areas. A lot of brunettes have this problem. Pretty Woman	Shaved once, NEVER EVER will do it again. I have it done professionally and no, it's not embarrassing. They are professionals, they know what they are doing, and yours won't be the first, or last, hooha they've seen. Also, don't use chemical hair removers like Nair. jo_z47	you shouldn't shave, when you shave, they grow back faster and thicker and that's kinda gross, you should wax it, it's not that embarrassing, but you should do it yourself the first couple of times so that you don't scream when u go somewhere else to do it lol. dystopialover	I shave mine. I know when you shave it can itch for a while but after a week of doing it every day or every other day it stops itching and then it can maintain its smoothness pretty damn well. If you don't want to get a wax done then you can go to Sav-On which is now CVS and buy at home waxing kits. They have cheap ones if money is an issue. Try to get one that has the paper you put over the wax and rip off. I got one once where it you just put the wax on and peel it off with your fingers and it hurt like hell. What I recommend if you want something that doesn't hurt and isn't shaving is that Nair stuff. The cream that you rub on and it removes hair. That makes you smooth. If you want to really smooth before fooling around with a guy or something, then just let it grow or whatever and shave it all off the morning of the day you're going to see them and it'll feel like a baby's bottom. romababe2001	You CAN do it yourself...but having a professional wax would probably be better. If you think about your entire body, being a whole, it really isn't "weird". We have our eyebrows waxed, our legs, even have people scraping all that dead skin off of our feet. YUCK! Waxing the pubic area is really no different than taking care of other hairy parts of your body. To me all parts of the body are equal and nothing to feel weird about. Chezkoz	No it's not embarrassing at all, I have it done every 4 weeks and my niece does it! You are better off to get a beautican to do it than yourself, I've heard lots of ugly stories from the beautican of girls that have done it themselves! If I can allow my niece to do it for me than it's not embarrassing. We are all girls aren't we, although I have heard stories of guys having a go at it!!
