Obviously you need to tell your mom when she gets home. But don't worry this is very common, just like head lice. Sometimes if you forget to wash your hands after going to the loo you can get them, also I have heard that children often get it at nursery/playgroup etc where they play with sand, because if one person has them they are easily transferred especially through sand. Your mom needs to know because usually the whole family need to be treated, just like when someone has head lice.

You probably have pinworms, relax won't kill you. Ask a pharmacist, I think there is something you can just buy to get rid of it. I know its embarassing but its a fact of life and the pharmacist is a professional. Could be a tape worm too. Neither is deadly. Just need to take care of it soon to avoid other complications.

GO TO THE ER!!! The longer you let it go, the worse it will get. They will probably give you a pill to get rid of it. (That's what they gave my cat). You could have ate something funky that caused it. They will most likely not get bigger, but they will not go away on there own.

You could have a tapeworm. Tapeworms are parasitic worms that live in the gut of animals, including humans. However, they cannot be passed from human to human. They can be caused when humans consume raw or undercooked animal products that contain worm larvae, which includes pork or beef, and can be passed from cats and dogs to humans. People usually become infected by accidentally swallowing the tapeworm eggs passed from a cat or dog or consuming raw meat. Surgery is the main form of treatment for tapeworms.
Symptoms of tapeworms:
If they occur, symptoms may include:
* Stomach upset
* Diarrhoea
* Unexplained weight loss
* Swollen abdomen
* Anaemia
* Weakness and fatigue
* Cough
* Blood or the fluid from a ruptured cyst – may be coughed up
* Jaundice – pressure from an enlarging cyst may cause jaundice
* White or light yellow worms in feces.
Also, you could possibly have pinworms. Pinworms can be passed from human to human unless strict hygiene practices are observed. A grown pinworm is yellowish white, slender and about one centimetre long. Four weeks after ingestion, the adult female pinworm moves down the gut and exits the body via the anus to lay a batch of eggs on the surrounding skin. Medication is available to kill the worms and this is usually prescribed for the person who is infected and all other members of the household.
Symptoms of pinworm:
Pinworm infections often produce no symptoms but, when they occur, symptoms can include:
* Itchy bottom, especially at night
* Reduced appetite
* Feeling mildly unwell
* Inflammation of the vagina
* Adult worms can sometimes be seen in the faeces, and eggs may be seen clinging to the skin around the anus
* Irritability and behavioural changes.

Appears you have a parasitic infection. Often times the meat that you eat can contain larva which hatch in the intestinal system and then come out of your digestive tract and into your bowel movement (aka poop). The undercooked meat could have been fish, beef, chicken, most often PORK where the eggs are imbedded in the muscle.
Just relax. You must go to the doctor as soon as you can so that he may prescribe a medication which kills off the worms and prevents other ones from hatching.
In the meantime, try eating some things which may help such as Garlic and Ginger and Lemon and drink plenty of water. Relax but you must go to the doctor as soon as you can.

honey, it sounds like parasites also known as pinworms. They live in the lower digestive system of humans and survive by eating nutrients from the person's food. People get pinworms by swallowing their eggs. This usually happens when someone with pinworms scratches around the anus, gets the eggs on his or her hands or under fingernails and touches you or an object that you later touch.Pinworms cause an infection called enterobiasis.They don't usually cause serious health problems and do not carry disease but may be associated with secondary infection, including skin infections and-rarely-infections of the vagina and urinary Tract. Please call your mother and let her be aware of whats going on with you so you can be treated by a healthcare professional.

Don't panic too much, it sound like you have threadworms. You do need medication to kill them off. You could have possibly picked them up from using a toilet where someone was infected with them. You can get medicine over the counter at the chemist to clear them up. They often come out at night and make your bottom itch. When you go to the toilet be sure to wash your hands thoroughly. I expect your mum would have heard of them and will know what to do.

Ignore some of these scaremongers. My son had this a few weeks ago. It is threadworms. You get it from water, fruit etc from other infected people handling them before you. It is very common in children and can be passed to others. You need a tablet from you G.P. or chemist. Wear pyjamas in bed as they come out at night and wash them daily. Use a seperate towel and get everyone else in your house to do the same and take a tablet. You need to do this for 6 weeks after the tablet (until they are all dead). It is not harmful just really annoying as they itch.

Call your mum and get some rest. If you have had these things for three days, you are probably not in any immediate danger. Call the doctor in the morning. You may need meds and as icky as it sounds, you should get a sample to take into the doctor with you. Put it in plastic, like a baggie.

no worries. it sounds like threadworms. very easy to treat as well. ask the chemist for `ovex` this will treat the worms (& also the eggs inside you) its quite common & nothing to worry about. the eggs are easily caught from kids/pets but aren,t serious. prevention is the best cure. just be sure to change your bed sheets every day for the next fortnight etc as reinfection can still occur if this does not take place. hope this helps?

It sounds like you have thread worm dont worry they are harmless. However they are very conttagious and can be caught by others very easy . So be careful no one uses the same towel or flannel as you . Make sure you wash your clothes and pjs daily.
They are usually caught by eggs getting under finger nails and them when you put your finger in your mouth it enters into stomach. They live in the colon and lower intestine.
A Gp can give you a prescription or you can go to the pharmacist and buy something. Be careful some tablets do not work and it can be quiet annoynig to get rid off. I would recommend getting medicine where you mix with water that way it flushes them out. You would need to take your medicine when you get it and then 14 days later. To make sure that all eggs have been killed. You need to tell your mum and other members of family so they can check they havent got it to. Or you could end up getting treated and them catching them again.
Also cutting your nails right down can really help to stop you catching them again and bleach toilet and bathing areas after each use until you know for certain you dont have them anymore

Those are pinworms, and they can be treated with oral medication. You will need to see a doctor for a prescription, and the other members of your household will probably have to take the medication as well, since pinworms are easily shared with others. Don't be too worried though, it's an esy problem to fix!

It sounds to me like threadworm, just go to the pharmacy and ask for something for them (it's called Mebendazole), it's much more common than you think, don't be embarassed, just say they're for your little brother or something if you do. They'll clear up in a couple of days. Just make sure you change your bedsheets and wear pyjamas for the time being. And wash your hands from now on!!!

They are very common and they are called thread worms. Almost all children will have them at least once throughout their childhood! Go to the chemist first thing and ask them for the correct treatment. It is just one tablet and they'll be gone! Nothing to get hung up about! Don't worry!
