you need to keep track of it on a calendar. maybe you work out a lot and it went away (which is not healthy)

ok this happend to my lil cousin, if you arent sexually active than you arent pregnant or anything like that, you are just changin the people who teach you about this stuff in school say it comes the same time every month or so, but thats a lie it could come any time so just be prepared and carry pads or whatever you use and it will eventually come,

i had the same problem, i got on the pill to regulate it. my mom wasn't too keen on it, but my doctor assured her that it was NOT a license to have sex (i don't know how old you are but i thought it was relevant ;]) and my dosage was low, so even if i did have sex the percentage of getting pregnant was still high.

so i'd talk to your doctor about getting it regulated =]

U are usually very irregular for the first year and a bit when your body first starts to menstrate. 5 days is the average period length its probably on its way...just make sure u always have a change of underwear and pants as well as some pads. talk to your mom about it. i didnt have that option :(

don't worry about it. this happens to me all the time. it just happens when you first get your period. unfortunately, you can't prevent it happening at school (it's happened to me before) so try to always be prepared (i wasn't and had to ask a teacher). good luck!

It's okay. You're just irregular. Lots of women have irregular periods. Some months you'll get it, sometimes you wont, sometimes you'll get it twice. Talk to your mom or your doctor, sometimes certain types of birth control can help regulate your period so it comes on schedule.

Another thing is that you could have a hormonal imbalance where sometimes you produce too much, and other times none at all. There are so many reasons why you dont have a regular period. The best bet is to talk to your mom and your doctor.

No, actually it is not really weird. Girls have irregular periods for the first 1-2 years when they first begin menstruating. Don't worry.

Don't worry about it at all. In your first year or so, your periods may not be regular. There is absolutely nothing wrong with you. Relax and enjoy missing a month.

Just make sure you carry a couple pads in your school bag in a hidden pocket, just in case!

If you only started in July it will be a while before you are regular. Don't worry, you will start again soon. Why don't you talk to your mom or grandma, or another older female that you are close to that can explain it to you in more detail.

just wear a pantiliner every day until it comes. Once you are pretty regular, predicting when you start is easier but never foolproof. I think my body likes to start early every now and then just to cause trouble for me.

So you say it came in july and you've had four since then and then nov 7th? So thats about 4 or 5 months worths of period, you seem to be on track. Don't worry or stress out ok because that alters your horomones and then they will be even more off schedule. You should really get on birth control even if you are younger. It schedules you're period so you know down to the day when you will get you're period and it makes cramps a LOT less painful. That doesn't mean you should have sex but for your period I highly recommend it! You're going to have to get on it sooner or later! Talk to someone about this a.s.a.p. Your mother or plan parenthood can help you. Until then, what you are experiencing seems normal.

Your menstrual cycle is usually not very regular when you first get your period.

You could go on birth control to even it out or try wearing a pantyliner in case it starts in school. Always have pads or tampons with you.

You just have to watch your cycle. Write down in your diary or make a journal and mark the day you got it and the day it ended. Women or girls vary on how often they get their periods. Some women get theirs every 28-30 days. If you just started getting your period in July, I wouldn't worry. Just keep track of it so you can expect when you'll get your next one. It might be varied since you just started, but it will become regular. Good luck to you.

it is normal for your period to be irregular for the first few years. you may skip a month, or you may have two in one month! it really depends. just go with it. if it isn't fairly regular in a year or two, see a doctor. other than that, just deal with it.

Are you on any medications? Birth control or any other medications with hormones can cause that.

Ok I just read your question again. A normal menstrual cycle is usually about every 28 days (once a month) so you have nothing to worry about. Just take the advice of all the other girls and keep an emergency pad or tampon with you at all times.

You might want to get some liners, they're really thin and not bulky like pads, and you won't have to worry as much about showing just in case. They should catch the first part of your period. It takes awhile for those to become normal. That's why it has the nickname "the curse!" :) Best of luck to you. :)

You are probably really young. I went through the same thing. that is normal when you first start. if this continues for more than 6 months or if you have a period that lasts more than two weeks you need to see a doctor.
But dont be scared that is perfectly normal. Remember every girl/woman is different. Good Lcuk!

Just wear a panty liner in the meantime, that way if you do start....you'll feel it most likely and the liner will protect you. And of course, have your other personal stuff in your purse for when it does come.

The first year after you start it is not uncommon to abnormal periods. You may find that your cycle is longer than the average 28 days or that you skip a couple of months at a time. If everything doesn't normalize after the next year or so you should ask your doctor but it sounds normal to me. If you're worried about starting at school, wear a pad or a panty liner so that you won't have any surprises. It's good that you're keeping track of exactly how long and when it began, those are good things to know.
