cathybaby	used tampons till i had my first child, i now use pads 'Always ultra slim' with wings and i find they are OK, and that they flush away very easily, i don't like tampons out of fear of TSS, also found they hurt during the last few days of my period when it was drying up as they dragged my skin pulling them out, have looked at the mooncup and to be honest it looks like to much hassle, watching you don't spill it, then carefully rinsing it out to put it back in, I'll stick to what i know. ViciousVixen	tampons allow a certain freedom, to swim, to be independant without fear of leakage, dont have to change as often and its a lot cleaner. I go with tampon for sure. Even tho i dont have that issue anymore. I had a hysterectomy 3 years ago. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

I mean i know people who found using them hard, but i think they are the most practical. you can swim with them, do basically anything I find pads kinda dirty, because yes i think you can feel it! Miss Jinxy	I hate pads, I find them so gross! They just stay there with the blood absorbed until the trash is taken out. You can just flush tampons away. With pads you can still leak onto your panties, but tampons absorb everything and you don't have to worry. I wear tampons and my mom wears pads. When I take out the bathroom trash, the pads in there are VILE. Not to insult women who use them, but I can't stand them, they make me feel so gross. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No
