I've never asked a doctor. But if you have a family history of diabetes, do ask.

Some pills could cause your insulin level to drop or depend on insulin for proper use. You really need to ask your doctor if you have diabetes, and if the medicine causes problems with your insulin production, it could trigger hereditary diabetes.

you can call a pharmacist and just ask what the harmful effects can be to people with diabetes. A lot of the warnings are just to cover the butts of pharmaceutical companies. But it is better safe than sorry when it comes to medication.

the reason the warning is there is so that you can confirm if you have an allergy to any of the agents in the pills. witch you should do. if you took them already and didn't die odds are you wont die however i still suggest to talk to a doctor, if you obtained the pills illegally just don't tell any one where you got them theres doctor patent confidentiality.

You only have to ask a doctor if you or someone in your family has/had diabetes. If the answer is no, you just take them.

I think I know the pills you are talking about then. Start with an "A" perhaps? Mmkay....danger here is dropping your sugar. And yes if you are a type 1 it is a REAL danger for you. Please, please be very careful!

Probably nothing. No prescription drugs are that dangerous any more - think of the lawsuits! Soon they'll be putting that exact label on M&Ms.

Well you could be taking a risk. If your not completely sure if you don't have diabeties then taking the pills could make the situation worse. Go to a doctor it could be your smartest bet!
