When you get in the pool - it's cold and you shouldn't need one - but a tampon is best.

I have gone swimming with it all the time....not even using tampons. Water actually calms down your period and it is not as heavy and you dont bleed as much when you are in water.
Hope I helped ♥

If you havent used a tampon before, then I wouldnt go swimming when using one for the first time.
get some in and spend the afternoon trying them out. When I first started using them they were extremely uncomfortable - but i guess that was because i was doing it wrong. its easily learnt though.
Even if you gotta use three in a row, practice makes perfect.

Yeah, a tampon would work. Just make sure that you change it often if you have a heavy flow, and you're all set. Good luck!

lol.. I remember when I was in this SAME situation! Tampon will NOT fall out if you put it in correctly. Use one with an applicator. Make sure you put the applicator in far enough. You should not even feel the tampon when its inside. Go swimming and have fun!

Yes, a tampon will solve the problem.
Contrary to popular myth women only loose about 2 tablespoons of blood during menstruation (although it feels like more!!).
A pad is worn outside of the body to catch the blood after it leaves the vagina; a tampon is worn inside the body to stop the blood from exiting your body - just remember to change it regularly.

Yes, a tampon would resolve the problem. You can swim with a tampon in. A tampon WILL NOT slip out. It stays in place until you take it out.
