dream	Well, when I first started using tampons, sometimes I would forget they were there because I was used to those bulky, annoying pads. Of course, I'd end up bleeding through and then remember to change it. Didn't take too long before I got the hang of it. Then later, after I'd been using tampons for a few years, I would tend to forget on about the 6th or 7th day, at the end of my period, that the really super lites were there. There was no extra bleeding, so sometimes at the end of the day, I'd go to wipe and be like "oh! the string! I still have that tampon in!" But even that was just a few hours. I can't imagine forgetting TWO though! I mean, you gotta have a pretty big vagina to put TWO of them in! Wouldn't she take one out before putting a new one in? That's seems odd. I supposed it's possible, but doesn't sound like a very smart thing to do. Now, I just use pads on the last days of my period and at night and don't have to worry about forgetting anything. annonymous	"Kat" is wrong in her answer to you. Yes, it can happen. It didn't happen to me but it happened to my sister. And, she's married and has relations with her husband so it was the same situation, kinda. The way she found out that she had these in her is that she started getting a strange oozing or discharge and went to the gyno. The gyno is the one that found what her problem was AND, they were pushed way up and had to be removed with like a giant tweezer type of medical instrument, Just by the way, if you thought it was so gross that your friend went around telling people this story about herself, I have to wonder why you don't think it's gross that YOU are now relaying the story to half of the world. little babby celeste	Oh my. Unfortunately, it is possible. My BFF at work told me that years ago, she "forgot" to take out her tampon and she did not realize it until about a week later when she could not rid herself of the horrific smell that was emanating from her loins. She went to the doctor, where he proceeded to remove the cotton pony that had wedged itself WAY, WAY up into her crevasse with a pair of long tweezers. She said when he finally yanked that thing out that the smell was HORRIFIC and even the doctor gagged. I am gagging right now just thinking about it. You really do need to stay "friends" with this person because while her stories are heinous, the hours of entertainment that we will get out of her stupidity are priceless. just me	Logically there is no way the relations with BF part is true, there is not that much room in the inn so to speak. I ran a Gyn office and we had one lady who had forgotten her's and it was nasty up there let me tell you, I don't know how anyone could forget having anything in there unless they were drunk to the max for days or a total space cadet.
