before you go to the doctor try to feel around again.
if you dont feel anything let your mom feel around.
(its embarissing but its the same if your mom or the doctor does it they will do the same thing) lay down on yor bed with your legs open and your mom can check and get it out for you
if she doesnt feel anything then theres nothing in theere

There are a couple things you can do to get a stuck tampon out. 1. Really bear down, like a bowel movement, and fell for it when while doing so. You should be able to feel it if it is there.
2. Use a douche, available at any drugstore, to knock it loose. Make sure to only use a vinegar and water style, not scented (scented can cause infections).
A couple of the symptoms of T.S.S. are fever and nausea. If you are experiencing those symptoms, go see a doc.

Your muscles should squeeze it down where you can get it out. I have had this happen to me before, I don't really want to share that story, it was really gross.
You do need to go to the dr if you can't get it out b/c you will become very ill if you don't!

You honestly would not have been able to put the other one in if you never took the first one out. The pain would have been unbearable. You are just overreacting. You will bleed over the tampon if you leave it in too long and the absorbency isn't high enough. Take the tampon out, shower, and put a new one in. Good Luck.

if you can't feel the string, then it is up there. get your mom and head straight to the doctor. it's going to be embarrasing having somebody go in there and pulling it out just because you didn't pay attention if you already had another one in? maybe you should go old style and just use pads.

If you didn't feel anything, then I doubt you have anything in there just hanging out. If you start to feel pain, develop a fever, or feel sick to your stomach then call your doctor. But, I think you are okay.

If you can't feel anything, then it's not there. lol It can't get lost inside you so don't worry :)
But if you ever do leave it in without realising, then remove it asap and get checked out by your doctor (TSS is a risk, a small one, but it's possible). If you feel any symptoms such as:
* high fever (greater than 102° Fahrenheit [38.8° Celsius])
* rapid drop in blood pressure (with lightheadedness or fainting)
* sunburn-like rash on the entire body
* vomiting and diarrhea
* severe muscle aches or weakness
* bright red coloring of the eyes, throat, and vagina
* headache, confusion, disorientation, or seizures
* kidney and other organ failure
(any of them), see a doctor.
But TSS is very rare.
Just be careful in future :) But I'm sure you're fine, don't worry. If you can't find it then it's not there xx

Go to the doctor immediately! You could get toxic shock syndrome - it is rare but a really bad illness.
And don't be embarressed it happens. And your doctor has most probably seen it happen lots.
It's better safe than sorry.

It's really gross, but have a good poke around in there with your fingers - if it's there you'll find it as it's got nowhere else to go! Don't use anything other than your fingers to investigate though and wash your hands thoroughly before and after if you do find it still in there.

Go to the bathroom and kneel down on your knees kind of in a praying position. Then, sit your bottom on your heels and spread your knees open. This position will shorten the vaginal canal which can make finding your tampon much easier. Insert one finger and feel around for it, you might want to use your middle finger since it's the longest. If you feel something then insert a second finger and grab whatever part of the tampon is reachable and pull down. You should probably put a few paper towels down under you while you do this because the tampon will probably be soaked. However, If you don't find your tampon it's important that you go to a doctor immediately! Leaving a tampon in for over 8 hours will put you at risk for toxic shock syndrome. Also, to avoid this situation in the future you may want to switch to a menstrual cup such as the DivaCup. They don't have a risk of TSS, they're healthier, better for our environment, cheaper in the long run, and they can be worn for up to 12 hours! Best of luck!

Go to the doctor, right now. You can go to an urgent care clinic if your doctor isn't available (although one of the nurses could probably do it just as well).
It's very dangerous to leave a tampon in too long - you could get Toxic Shock Syndrome, and that can be deadly.
My friend is an ER doctor, and she did a pelvic exam on a woman with unexplained symptoms - and discovered a month-old tampon that she said looked and smelled like a dead sewer rat. Gross! The woman would have died if my friend hadn't found this - don't let this happen to you!

IF one was left in there it can cause infection. Just because you can't feel it does not mean its not there. They can get stuck around the cervix. If your not sure the best bet is to see a physician.

This is a nightmare. I feel your pain. Usually you can still find the string, it might be tight trying to feel up far enough if you are still a virgin. If you do not have a lot of cramping and pain, having two in there would have felt pretty odd, but if you have painful periods it can be hard to tell since it all feels odd. The chance is slim. Try to think how you usually deal with the tampon you remove and see if you remember any of that - if you toss it in your trash (I know this is gross) get CSI on it and look around in the trash to check the dryness and number of tossed tampons you have in there to figure it out (nasty, but it is yours - so no big deal). Failing that, if you are losing your mind about it still - have your Mom take you to a GYN doctor and they can take a look. If you have not been to a GYN before this is very awkward, but you do need to get exams eventually. Definately get a female GYN if you are a virgin - less awkward and they know how it feels to have the Spectrum put in, so it will be easier for you. In the future - remember the steps and stick to them: one comes out and gets tossed or prepped, then the new one goes in. It happens - don't let it make you crazy. If there is another one in there, it needs to come out.

As unpleasant as it is, you're going to have to go deep...really deep to ascertain if there's anything there. Remember that the vaginal canal curves back and is not just a straight shot. Also, you could try using your muscles to push it out, then repeat check. Otherwise, your mom could assist you (if you're really close) or head to the doctor.

Apparently sometimes the tampons can get stuck between the top of the vagina and get trapped by the cervix in a sideways position sometimes. It can't go anywhere but can be difficult to retrieve.
Once this happened to me, I apparently somehow forgot to remove one and inserted another. I did not realize this for quite some time...I think close to a week, It started to smell and then I started wondering if this is what happened. I eventually could feel it but coud not find the string. I think (this was so long ago) that I squatted and bore down like when one has a b.m. and eventually I was able to get it lowered enouh so that I found the string and was able to remove it but it took so long and I was very paniced as I recall.
I did not know then that things like this cause toxic shock syndrome at the time.
You are not overreacting as you can get an infection and even worst.
Try this website and see if you can get anything. If you do a goggle search stuck tampon, you will get tens of thousands of links..
http://www.estronaut.com/a/lost_tampon.htm
follow the directions. Also try squatting and trying a hook like motion with your finger. The vagina is only about 4 1/2 inches. Some people call on friends or boyfriends if they can't go to the hospital.
if it does not work, go to the doctor or emergency room. They can remove it with a speculum. They are used to retrieving much worst things from people, so don't be embarrassed.
