More hygeinic then something from the trash but personally I would have looked around for a fast food napkin or paper towel. Agreed newspaper is better than your hand. Maybe an old wash cloth that you wouldnt mind tossing after. I see a shower in your near future. Ps: Dont forget to disinfect (the shower).

If there's a sink near by, use your hands and water. Then PLEASE wash your hands after. If there's no sink, flush the toilet so there's fresh water in the toilet and use that.

personally i do not think so because when you wet a newspaper the ink starts coming off alittle. and your trying to wipe your ................. with it and when you wipe something obviously its wet or allitle damp so i don't think that can be very good. you may want to go to the store and get some toilet paper asap. and not do that again. lol..thats just my opinion.

No I have not, but years ago before the invention of toilet paper, it is believed that the Romans, the French, and early Americans used everything from salt water soaked sponges, lace, wool, corncobs, newsprint, rags, and catalogue paper in place of toilet paper. In certain cultures people also use their left hand and water to clean themselves. So a bit of newspaper doesn't seem so bad!!!!

No, it is not hygienic. The saying that you cannot get germs off newspaper or money is a wives tale. Not that I am suggesting you use money either! Get some toilet paper and remember not to flush any paper other then toilet paper down the commode or you may be calling the plumber. Good luck!

Yeah! LOL! I'm a hillbilly I guess! Not recently, but yes I have. You just have to crinkle it up first to make it softer! People also use corn husks. I wouldn't worry about it being hygenic, it's better than not wiping at all!

In the old days, it was standard practice for people who had outhouses to keep an old copy of the Sears & Roebuck Co. catalog in there. It was free and had a lot of sheets.
In a lot of foreign countries, people use paper that's not much softer. Kind of like the same stuff they make brown paper bags from. And in several European countries they don't even use toilet paper at all! They use bidets instead.
The moral? It takes all kinds.

that Soy ink should be ok. i don't think it will hurt you. it may make your nether region black with ink. you do what you gotta do. back in the old days people used dried corn cobs and i guess no one died from that -- so newspaper should be ok. might clogged up your toilet though.

Its perfectly okay. Most newsprint is more sterile than the toliet paper in your bathroom. It was in the interior of a huge roll. Not handled by human hands (except front page).
I would however crumble it up some to make it softer before using it on my bum.

Um I dont think its all that good because that ink may go inside, after al it is an opening into your body. You never know whos had their hands on it, and how or where its been transported. If its been kept in storage until delivery, rats may get on it and possibly pee on it. Or roaches, they leave droppings on stuff. It just may be full of diseases. Be careful next time. Try a paper towel, or just jump in the shower to just wash that part if your at home.

We used magi zine paper when we went to Grandma's . She had an out house .
If you use any magi zine paper keep a plastic bag handy to put it in & tie it with a twister
Never use news paper , the ink isn't good for you & it will get all over your skin . Use baby wipes to clean up good .
I just ran out of some close I needed , flexable drain pipe on my washer broke . Being with out things we need every day is not good at all
Hope you can get some paper

Before TP was invented, people used the Sears Catalog to do the same thing. It works. No problem. Most inks are Soy based and not lead based, so you should be ok.
