well, it could be alot of things, first off, since you just had your first period, i will take for granted that you are young, also, for this reason, i will assume that you are not sexually active and if you are, i would hope that you already thought of the possibility of pregnancy. perhaps you are just going through a transistional phase, were your body is adjusting to being a woman, or your first period could have been something else, ask your mom, or go and see a gynocologist to be sure.

For some teenagers it will take some time to get a regular period after the first one. Don't worry about it, but keep an eye out for ur period and don't brush it off. Nothing is wrong- it quite normal. Your body just needs some time to get used to it.

That happened to me after I got my first period. It was 3 months before I got my second and the explanation for why was because I was stressed and my body was really physically active. The rest of my periods came normally. I'm not sure if that helps any but just know that you aren't the only one it has happened to.

The first few months, even the first few years sometimes are rarely regular. Don't worry about when it comes- but you should keep track, your doctor might want to know at a regular checkup or something.

When you 1st start ur period it comes on and off really weird. If you are older and have had it for a long time, you are probably pregnant if any sexual activity has happened lately. Or, if you are like 40 or something you will go through menopause and you won't get it any more. Hope I helped!!

When you start your periods this can happen, not with everyone but with a lot of girls. I had it one month and missed the next two and then it started to come in regularly but always late. Don't worry, it will eventually come every month for the next 45 years or so, you'll end up hating the monthly arrival.

for most girls, the first two years after the recieve their first period, their "schedule" is unstable. Meaning that your period will sometimes come really late or really early- it's different with every girl. so dont worry- in about a couple of years you should have a set schedule-

I had my first period when I was 13. It happened in a December and then I didnt have another period until 2 months later. Its normal for it to be delayed. Some women are never regular. Dont be too concerned about delayed periods until you are alot older.
