I didn't tell my mom & was miserable for two months until she found out. PLEASE TELL HER! She will probably be pretty sympathetic, she might say "Oh, you've grown up!" or something like that. If you're really awkward, you can write her a note(leave it like in her purse so no one else will find it) or you can wait until she leaves the house and call or text message her, if that's easier than face to face.

Just tell her straight out. If you are kind of nervous to talk to her, you can call her if she's buying groceries or something. Then she'll be able to get you what you need. I was really nervous to tell my mom too, but once I did I was so relieved.

Dont be scared, all girls get it. She is probably waiting for the moment you come to her.
I have a friend that is alot younger than me. She told me that when she was younger she told her mother that she got her period. Her mother just screamed in joy. She shouted, your a woman now!!!! Her mom was so happy so told everyone in the family. With some families a girl getting there period is a joyous moment. My friends family is Puerto Rican. I dont know if that is tradition with them or she was just happy.

well you should let her know asap because some women get cramps and what not in which case it would be helpful for her to know if you are in pain. also you need to make an appointment with your gynocologist. that way they can make sure everything is good to go. she cant be mad at you. it is what females do. just remember that getting a period does not give you a ticket to have sex!!!!!!!!! good luck

don't be scared. you shouldtell her- afterall, she's delt with a period for a long time. and you need to get some femine supplies right away.
if you're afraid of embarrassment, don't worry, after time, you'll understand that there's nothing to be embarrassed about.
it took me a few years but you realize that all girls have it and guys will eventually have to deal with it too because of their girlfriends

Periods are natural!
She wont say anything,
Start of by saying something like "mum, i think i've started my period, what should i do?"
Best she'll do is show you how tampons and pads work, you can do it for yourself.
I prefure tampons, there's more comfortable, less comfortable when you first wear them, and if your a virgin or have no experience down there it can sometimes burn putting a tampon right up there.
Dont worry, not your fault. Every girl gets it. She's not gonna shout at you cause you finally started your period.
There horrible, cant wait to get rid of mine! xD
