Ok Ladies which one do you prefer and why?

I would like to know which one do you prefer and why? Tampons or pads? Whats your reason for choosing one over the other?...

Amanda S	I perferred pads. I did not trust tampons.

khadεsia.	Pads, it's faster and easier, but maybe tampons are better if your wearing a dress or white use Tampax Purls.
norms_happy1	i would use tampons b-cus for me they feel more comfortable and you don't even have to worry about getting stained. but for pads, i feel like its messy

mama	tampons cause pads are messy and i think there gross.
tara b	it depends. I am on the pill and it tends to make my period very very light. Therefore I typically just use pads because tampons are just uncomfortable to me when it is that light. When I do have the occasional heavier day, I gladly choose a tampon. When I sleep, I always use pads...just incase I over sleep, to avoid any risk of TSS.
bird43	I prefered pads, didn't have to worry about the tampon getting stuck in me. Very thankful that I no longer have to deal with that issue any more.
Taylor	Tampons....i feel dirty if i use a pad. sitting in that is gross to me.
loves.ozzy	tampons. pads are gross, messy and make me feel dirty. and can often smell tampons are unnoticible, clean, and fit in pocket or purse
knitsafghans	Pads due to risk of TSS, but I use tampons when necessary - e.g. swimming.
MLL	Pads, less chance of toxic shock syndrome and you don't have to worry about getting it stuck!
Rayvin	Tampons. I don't feel clean when wearing a pad plus it makes me paranoid that it will leak or something. Not into that.
Jessica V	TAMPONS!! They are so much cleaner. You do not feel them. You do not smell or if you do smell a little they sell scented ones. A pad always reminds you that you have your period, It bunches, you feel it, it smells you have to wrap it up and throw it away. Ever been at a friends house or a guys house and had to toss a nasty pad in his trash. You think he didn't see it or smell it when he threw it out a week later. Tampons get flushed down the toilet paper and applicator and all no signs of a girl with her period anywhere.
Stacey	Neither. My fave is a product called Instead. It fits inside of you and you can wear it up to 12 hours. Best invention ever!
Me	Both..... I use either depending on what stage I am in during my period. I don't want to go into details but sometimes it's not worth wasting a tampon when it's a light day.

L♥VE	To b honest with you im glad you asked cuz i need to know if people like tampons cuz im tired of pads! ugg so im trying to get tampons for my next period which is due 2 morrow!
lil southern girl	Tampons. Pads are just gross, like you are wearing a diaper. Even with the thinnest ones I still don't like the feeling of having that nasty wetness on, no matter how often it's changed. I had to wear them as a teenager because my periods were way too heavy then and no tampon could handle it. Thank God those days are long over.

coyote	I used to use tampons - less messy than pads - until I found the Diva cup. Now I don't use anything else!

laura f	tampons deffinetly, they fit into my mini purses. (no pun intended) a pad feels like a nappy and looks like a crime scene.
roxy	well i used to prefer tampons because i didnt like feeling the pad--but then i had severe pain and breakthru bleeding problems and the dr said i had fibers from the tampons in me and that causes bleeding between periods and can also cause toxic shock syndrome-after i thought about it it stands to reason every time you pull a tampon out a few fibers are bound tostay in and after awhile build up-ever since that paonful time i used pads -all of a sudden feeling the pad didnt bother me-not after the pain i went thru because of tampons-
