My tampon has gone to far up and i cant find it. what can i do?

smilechaser	I worked for a gyn. All the answers are right about having to reach up there for it and bear down like you are having a bowel movement. .....BUT one thing that will help alot is use some form of lubricant and lube up like crazy first. sandy l	i saw a show on tv about doctors and the most gross things that each had ever had to do or see and this one doc said he had to remove a tampon from some women who had like you got it in too far . but the gross part was not that it was that she had left it in there for a few months and the smell was beyond belive . also he said he was amazed she didnt have any complications from this . but the ladies on here have told you what to do so i dont think your going to leave it there for months for some poor doc to deal with Was this answer helpful to you? Sher	First of all, DO NOT PANIC!!! This has happened to many women. Take some deep breaths to relax. Insert finger and feel for the string. If this doesn't work, go to your gynecologist by tomorrow. LFM	First, you need to try to relax your muscles, if they are too tense, it could make finding it difficult. Then you can search for it using your fingers (not very pleasant but necessary), and if that doesn't work, you should go to the ER. dances with cats	it can't go too far up- your body is not built to let it go too far up just sit on the toilet, relax, reach in with your fingers and find it- pull it out. jeff	I had a girl friend that had thie problem , she layed in the bath tub an dpuched on her stomach while i went in and fished it out for her ,,, what we guys do for the ones we love ..... no problem tho ... took a lil bit but the shower was fun afterwards so.........
